Chapter 3-

Daniel came towards us and I felt uncomfortable knowing that this person has taken interest in me. Stella started to realise that I was uncomfortable. Who wouldn't be? She dragged me and started to wave goodbye to the boys. I glanced behind seeing a puzzled Daniel and nervous Aaron. I waved my hand good bye.

She stopped dragging me in front of the gates.  

"Thanks," she nodded her head. 

"I knew how I would feel if a guy likes me and I know and they don't know I know, about their affection?" I nodded not catching up to her.

"I don't understand either," we both laughed and made our way home. Today was interesting. I was thinking from the begging to the present. There was a goofy grin trying to break my face.

I started to sing Katy Perry- Last Friday night 

"There's a stranger in my bed, 

There's a pounding my head, 

Glitter all over the room, 

Pink flamingos in the pool, 

I smell like a minibar, 

DJ's passed out in the yard, 

Barbie's on the barbeque, 

There's a hickie or a bruise.

Pictures of last night, 

Ended up online, 

I'm screwed, 

Oh well, 

It's a black top blur, 

But I'm pretty sure it ruled.

Last Friday night,  

yeah we danced on tabletops,  

and we took too many shots,  

Think we kissed but I forgot..."

I sang all the way home. I got my keys out from my bag and went inside. Dad was obviously at work. I went over to the kitchen and cooked some pasta. The time was 2:30 I have another one hour until I pick up Tommy from nursery. I have a little brother he is 5 years old and an older brother back in America, his 21 years old.

My family has changed since my mother died. Dad started to smoke on cigarettes. Tommy started to have more tantrums. Ken (her older brother) started to go on drugs. Thank god, he has a girlfriend who can stop him. Suddenly scenes of mum and me having fun were entering my mind. My eyes leaked with water. I shook my head and washed my face. I got my bag and walked my way to the nursery.

I spotted Tommy playing with a girl. I went over to Tommy. He found me and started to run to me. He clutched my leg and started to tell me all about his day. The girl he was playing with me came toward us.

"Tommy, I need to go I hope I see you another time," she said in her tiny sweet voice.

"Bye," 

Tommy said and went over and kissed her cheeks. She blushed and so did Tommy. Aw young love. The girl went over to her mum and she started to squeal with joy. Tommy waved goodbye and I notified the teacher that we were going to take off.

"So Tommy, who was that?"

"She's Brenda,"

"Do you like her?"  I asked.

He rejected and started to blush. So that means yes. I laughed and entered the house. I gave Tommy the pasta and he watched TV. I went upstairs to finish my projects. My phone rang the tune of My Dilema by Selena Gomez, i went to pick  recieve it.

"Hello?" I asked

"Hey Jen, want to come to a party tonight?"

"What time does it start?"

"8:00"

"I think I'll be able to come,"

"I'll pick you up, where do you live,"

"34 Crescent road, E14 7BI," I answered.

"I'll be there at 7:40 bye,"

"Bye,"

I hanged up first, and finish off the project that I have started.

Dad came back form his job and slept on the sofa. I told Tommy I was going to a party and made a sandwich and left it in the fridge. I went upstairs and changed my clothes. I wore a dark blue dress, which covered my knees, and I wore blue stilettos. I put tiny bit of makeup and I heard a beep from outside. I grabbed my purse and went over to Stella's Mercedes X3. I went inside the passenger seat.

"Trying to impress someone?"

"Not funny at all Stella," I replied

I started to become more nervous as we got nearer to the house. This was my first party in England. I wonder if it is different or the same.
