Chapter Seven

~Chapter Seven~

Chase and I were in the car debating on when to get out. He was all for being late the first day just to piss Mom off but I was kind of anxious. I wanted to go inside and just get this over so I could go back into the woods and watch the house with the irresistable smell.

Finally I gave up on trying to debate with him and just got out. I fixed my grey and white stripped v-neck shirt and checked the fly on my dark jeans. We're good. How embarassing would it be to go in there and have my fly down.

Chase was doing a once over on himself as well and I smiled. He may be older but he acted and looked pretty much just like me... Except he was much more violent and impulsive. He had on a sky blue t-shirt and some light jeans. His black hair was combed back where as mine was a little messier.

He seemed to sense my anxiousness and punched my arm lightly. I took a deep breath t calm myself and was assaulted by that smell. Mmm. It was here too. Must be a person. Maybe Chase was right though and it was just some chick with nice perfume. My wolf told me otherwise but I wasn't listening to him at the moment for holding out on me. He knew the meaning behind the mouth-watering scent but refused to tell me.

We walked through the thinning students in the parking lot to the main doors. I pushed open the door and got a strong whiff of that magical scent. Whoever that was, was here. In this building.

I looked around and spotted three kids about Chase's and I's age. There were two girls and a boy. The boy whispered something to the girl on his right and she looked up.

Her hair was a magical color of black with faint blue undertones. Her cheeks were a rosy shade of pink and her lips were lush and full looking. Her body was perfect with curves in all the right places. I worked my way up her body and then back down again. Then I looked at her eyes. They were a brilliant shade of blue that you normally only see in thunder clouds.

I could hardly tear my eyes away from hers and when I did I gasped. My wolf was internally smirking and I could hardly believe I didn't see it before. My wolf knew the entire time and he was keeping this from me! The unbelievable scent radiated from this girl and I watched in awe as her cheeks flushed a deep scarlet.

The other girl looked at us and her eyes raked over our bodies shamelessly. Surprisingly enough the boy's did the same not seconds after. His chestnut brown hair fell into his green eyes and he noticed me looking at him. He sent a wink my way and I hardly held back my gag.

That has to be the first time I'd ever had a guy wink at me!

The tiny little girl that had my stomach doing backflips whispered something in the boy's ear. He looked at her like she'd gone mad and shook his head.

"No, I'm going to introduce myself." I heard him say. I wish I'd caught what she had said. I'd love to hear her voice. Would it be as intoxicating as her scent?

The boy came sauntering up to Chase and I with the two girls in tow. Chase had a devilish smirk and I couldn't help but nudge my way into his thoughts. He was thinking about the tiny little angel that smelled like Heaven.

'I swear to all that is holy if you don't stop this train of thought right now I will, so help me God, skin you alive, Chase.' I said into his mind. He looked at me strangely before his eyes widened in understanding.

'Sorry, Artie. I didn't know...'

'Don't let it happen again.'

They were infront of us now and I cuoldn't help but be ensnared by the dark haired girl's beauty. Wow.

"Hi. I'm Decker." The boy said, dropping her hand and stretched it out to Chase then I. We each shook it briefly.

"I'm Chase and this is my brother Artie."

"Nice. Well this is Hannah." He pointed to the blonde. "And this is Lee." He pointed to my little angel.

"It's nice to meet you all." I said in a soft voice, my eyes locked on hers. She wasn't looking at me though and that made me a little sad.

Chase held his hand out to the girls and they both shook his hand and I mentally thanked him for the opening. I shook Hannah's hand first and then Lee's. Shocks ran up my arm and made my whole body tingly.

Her eyes snapped up to mine and her mouth opened into a little 'o' of shock. My eyes were glued to hers and I couldn't make myself look away. The beautiful blue seemed to swirl around in her large doe-like eyes and it had me completely transifxed.

"Do you guys know where the office is?" Chase asked, snapping me out of reverie. Quickly, as if coming out of a trance, she dropped my hand and looked down at the ground shyly, a blush blossoming on her face.

"Down that hall and to the left." Decker said, pointing to a hallway. "And if you need anything, anything at all, feel free to give me a call. He slipped a piece of paper into Chase's front pocket and walked away with Hannah under one arm and Lee under the other.

"What just happened?" I asked, mesmerized by that little angel with the blue/black hair.

"I think I just got hit on by a dude..." Chase had a strange look in his eye. "That was weird..."

"You ain't kiddin'." I said back.

I couldn't help but feel a little envious of Decker at the moment though. He had his arm around Lee. My Lee. If he weren't gay I'd probably beat him down for layin a hand on that girl. My mate.

WOO! Success! Chapter Seven is up! That is like three chapters in one day! I know they're all really short and all but you know what I'm working on that! And finally we can have a dedication to a specific person you know why?! BECAUSE I GOT MY FIRST COMMENT!!!! It took a prologue and six chapters but I finally got a comment.
