Asher’s POV

“Hey it’s me Liberty…” she said through the phone. I let out a sigh and rubbed my hand over my face. I  Really wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone after that whole encounter with Gee.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her. She did sound upset.

I have sisters I know how to play the sympathetic card.

“I just need someone to talk to and Gee isn’t picking up her phone.” Yeah she’s too busy caressing her gun!

“Do you want to meet up somewhere I mean it’s after twelve (hehe chuck you know that inside joke) but we can still meet up at one of those twenty four hour places.

“Sure..how about McDonalds…if they let me back in.” she said slowly. I could tell she was smiling.

“Sure see you in ten?”  I asked. She agreed and hung up.

Well I was lounging on my bed thinking about all that had happened today but I guess I have plans with Lib now.

I slipped on a jacket so she couldn’t see the marks and glanced at the mirror before leaving my apartment. Yes still sexy as ever.

I grabbed my motorcycle keys and sped off to meet Liberty. You know how books always talk about girls always swooning over guys with motorcycles? Yeah books don’t lie. The chicks dig my bike.

I pulled up to see Liberty arguing with a man  in a McDonalds uniform.

What could she possibly have done in five minutes? I shuddered….knowing her…a lot.

“You listen here you pimple infested blind rat! You better let me into this lard making establishment!” She yelled. The young teenage boy looked scared but still stood his ground

“Listen lady I don’t think my boss would be very happy if let you back in.”

“Oh don’t you lady me! I deserve to be here! Now let me in before you meet my good friend brass knuckles and his uncle kick your ass!” She yelled throwing up her hands making the poor kid flinch. Okay I better stop this insanity.

“How about you take this hundred and let us inside?” I said slipping a hundred dollar bill into his hand. He smirked and opened the door.

“No hard feelings right?” He asked Liberty with a wink. He thinks he has a chance? Has he seen me?

This kid looked to be about 16 same height as Liberty with greasy hair and not the best face in the world. Could he even pick up a spatula with those noodle arms?

“I need to talk about Julian and I.” She told me once we ordered and were seated. We ordered two vanilla cones.

I silently cursed him.

“What about you guys?” I asked a mask of concern on my face. I could be doctor freaking Phil if I wanted. But with hair don’t forget my sexy, sexy hair.

“I don’t see how I have feelings for the guy when I barely have known him a month and am basically being forced into being married to him!” she blurted out with a frustrated sigh.

“Well maybe—“

“And! I don’t see hoe he can have true feelings for me when I’m me. I mean I’m not blind I  know I’m not the easiest person to handle.” She admitted. The guy at the counter scoffed.

She turned and shot him a glare. “Being a peeping tom is illegal isn’t it?”  She  sneered at him. His face turned bright red.

“So anyways I’m just so confused and when he finds out I’m with you he’s going to be so mad!”

“Why would he—“

“I don’t even know how I became friends with a gang leader and I am engaged to another and you are both enemies! How des this happen?”

“I knew you looked familiar!” Peeping tom blurted out behind us.

“Excuse me?” she replied.

“Well not you, your Julian’s girl but also the crazy chick from the other day. But I am talking about him you’re Asher James west sides Gang leader.” The kid stared at me wide eyed which is the usual reaction I get from someone who recognizes me and knows of what I have done.
