Prussia x Reader Wanted Ch.2

(Name) hung off the side of the bed she shared with her fiancé, Gilbert. Seeing his pale face upside-down made her giggle. “Yo, Gil!” Said albino grinned at her. “Yo, (Name)!” They both smiled at their familiar greeting. (Name) sat up and faced her soon-to-be-husband, and then blushed at the seriousness of the question she was about to ask him.

“Uh, Gil? W-when did you decide you wanted to marry me?” The blush then took over her face. Gilbert’s eyes widened. He smiled softly as his adorable wife-to-be stared at her toes. He was pretty sure she would explode if he told her it was the first time he met her, so he told her the moment he knew he was sure.

~le flashback to 1 year ago~

(Name) sighed as she checked her phone again. Nope. It was still the ungodly hour of 3:00am and, yup, she was really heading over to her stupid boyfriend’s house. Gilbert had called her drunk, (and most likely horny), wanting her to come over. Anyone else would have rolled over and went back to sleep, but (Name) couldn’t let Gil wake up with a killer hangover with no one to take care of him. No matter how stupid he was.

Besides, seeing him in pain might make her feel better about being up at 3:00am.

Heading to his room, (Name) could already smell the alcohol drifting from there. The irritated and tired girl sighed. She had warned him many times about his drinking, but Gil was so sure of how well he could hold his beer, he just had to push his limits.

Sighing again, (Name) opened Gilbert’s room door and let herself in. “Gil? You still breathing?”

She found the Prussian man lying across his bed. Shirt off, and pants unbuckled. Great. Gilbert chuckled and slurred out, “Just barley, leibing. You walking in here just took my breath away~” (Name) cringed. That cocky bastard. “Shut up, you drunkard.” She huffed. “I’m just here to make sure you don’t die or anything.” She made her way to his bed and sat on the edge. “Kesese~ that hurts my feelings,” He purred as he sat up. “It’s not very nice…”

Gil wrapped his arms around (Name’s) waist. He laid his chin down on her shoulder and grinned up at her. “Gil…” (Name) warned. Gilbert closed his eyes and nuzzled his girlfriend’s neck. “Vhat? I’m just making myself comfortable. Is zhere something wrong with that?” (Name) pulled out of his grasp and pushed him onto the pillow. “Yes. You’re drunk and stupid, and whatever you think is gonna happen tonight isn’t gonna happen.” She glared down at him, which he only returned with a humored pout. “So mean…” He muttered closing his eyes. “That’s right, Hun. I’m awful.” (Name) couldn’t help but smile, as she brushed some hair from Gilbert’s face.

She stood up to go sleep on the couch, when suddenly; Gilbert’s hand shot up and stopped her. “W-wait, frau! You aren’t leaving me are you?!” (Name) frowned gently. “Gil, I’m just going to sleep on-““N-no! Just- just… lay with me for a little… Please?” Hard shell melted, (Name) nodded and smiled softly at the child like man in the bed. “Ok, Gil. Don’t worry; I won’t leave you.” Sliding into bed with him, (Name) immediately felt Gil’s arms around her. He nuzzled and kissed her neck, pulling her tightly into him. She felt warm and safe; besides the fact Gil was drunk. Almost as quickly as he did, (Name) fell asleep.

In the morning, Gil woke up with hard and painful pounding in his head. “Ah!” He groaned as he tried to sit up. “Morning, sunshine~” He heard a smug and all too familiar voice from his doorway. “Ngh… (Name).” Gil managed. “Poor baby, does your head hurt?” (Name) said with mock sincerity. Gil barely nodded, as the giddy girl chuckled to herself.

She set down a bottle of aspirin on his nightstand and handed him a glass of water. The tired man looked up at her with grateful ruby eyes. “H-hey, thanks frau.” Gil said with a weak, yet sincere smile. (Name) smiled back. “Who me?” She questioned, as she watched him take his pill. The (h/c) girl sat next to him smiling a bit. Gil swallowed and looked up at her, surprised. “Ja, you!” He said, wincing at his own voice. “Thank you for being here for me. I-I know I probably acted like an idiot last night, but I still got to wake up to your pretty face this morning… I think I’m really lucky for that.” Gilberts bright red orbs burned into (Name’s) own (e/c) ones. She blushed furiously and looked away. “H-hey… stop that!” Gil reached out and stroked her face, causing her to look his way. “Stop telling the truth?” He pressed on, quietly. Seriously. “Where would I even be without you, (Name)? I don’t think I would even know how to function… S-so please. I know this is so selfish, because you could do so much better than me, but please: Promise me you won’t leave me…” He shyly pulled her into a tight hug. The blush on (Name’s face could put a fire truck to shame. She hugged him back and whispered, “Of course… of course I won’t leave you. I love you…” They pulled away and smiled at each other. “I love you too, (Name).” Gil said as he brushed his lips against hers.

Now lying against her future husband’s chest, (Name) blushed furiously remembering that night so long ago. At least it seemed that way.

Gil couldn’t help but chuckle at (Name’s) cute face. “What leibing?” He questioned grinning. “You wanted to know.” (Name) just buried her face in his chest.

She peeked up at him and asked quietly, “Are you gonna tell this story at our wedding??” Gilbert grinned, and pecked her forehead.

“Hmph. Maybe.”
