Chapter 5


"Omgawd! Sarah is going to kill me. Shit!" I yelled, looking flustered. The guys gave me a look.
"There are three guys who blew up the house and your not worried about them, but the wall?" Damien asked with incredible amusement in his eyes.
"No, I'm worried about them too, its just the wall..." I said, trying to form a plan to hide it from Sarah, which of course was doomed to fail.
"Uh hem, ok. Going back to us now." one of the three dangerous looking guys said, with a crooked smile. He wasn't really tall, he was about my height. He is well built, has completely black hair, and completely black eyes. But he was gorgeous. His skin was flawless and even though he looked young, he seemed ancient.
"Wow, this time the Aureolas doesn't get along, huh?" another one said. This time he was about Damien's height. He had red hair and he also had completely black eyes. His skin was also flawless and ageless. The third guy was silent. Guess he doesn't like to talk. He was a giant! Seriously, he was like 6'8" or something. His dark brown hair was messy and his deep gray eyes wild. Wait, gray? How is that possible? The guy smirked right when I thought about it. Don't tell me he's telepathic. With all of these crazy things going on in my life, I wouldn't be surprised if he was. He slowly nodded, looking straight at my direction. Oh shit. Better clear up my thoughts with him around. This time he laughed, trying to it cover up with a cough. His comrades looked at him confused.
"Jake, Ryan, Aden. I didn't expect to see you so soon. I've missed you so much," Kaleb said with sarcasm dripping like acid.
"Yet you didn't tell us who your new buddy in here. She is quite a babe," the red head said. Ugh, he is a flirt! Great....
"Shut up, she doesn't need to know vermin like you." Damien shouted. He was seriously pissed. I didn't get why. But then I remembered Cecilia and Trinity.
"Sssshhhh!! You're going to wake up Trinity and Cecilia," I hissed through my teeth. Damien smiled, his perfect white teeth gleaming.
"They are not going to wake up. We gave them sleeping pills that is enough for them to sleep the whole day." he said, sounding so proud of himself. I nodded, understanding why they didn't wake up after the big bang. I was glad they were asleep. I didn't want them to be caught in this mess.
"Since you are not going to introduce us, my name is Jake," the black haired said. He pointed to the red head.
"Uhhh, my name is Ryan," the red head said, " and this is Aden. He doesn't like to talk a lot," pointing to the brown head. Aden nodded, who was clearly bored. Ok, glad I knew their names. Now why did they blast my house! Aden shrugged. Ok, that was getting annoying. I looked around. My gaze fell on Jethro. Jethro looked menacing. He looked so scary. Ryan caught Jethro's expression and got taken back.
"Since you clearly didn't prepare for us, we will leave you.... For now. See ya!" Ryan said, disappearing in a blur. His comrades followed him in the same manner. Wow... guess he got scared. I turned around to find the guys look relieved.
"Who the hell are they? And why the fuck did they break my wall?" I demanded.
"Um.... Did I mention we are being hunted?" Kaleb said, trying to lighten up the mood. My mouth dropped open. I was too shocked for words. I was being hunted!
"Wha...bu...them..." I stammered.
"We can't understand you... dummy." Damien said. How can they act so calm?
"Ok, tell me everything." I asked. I mentally prepared myself, knowing there were going to be many things that would be pretty outrageous.
"So, you found out about the hunted part. We were going to tell you but there was interruptions... Our kind created the earth. So in a way, we are God. We don't age, and the only way for us to die, is when someone kills us. But that is unlikely since we have more athletic ability than humans. When an Aureola dies, a new one is born a year later. We could use our aura to fly. We could also use it telekinetically, meaning we could move things without touching it. Our auras is like a third hand. Its pretty easy to control. Its also our third eye. We use it to spy on the vampires and werewolves, since they cant see them. That pretty much covers it up." Damien said in a matter of fact kind of tone. Again, I was loss in words. That was pretty outrageous enough.
