Truth and Lies
Does anybody tell the truth anymore.
It is hurting me down to my core.
I feel betrayed by all the lies.
I feel sad as innocence dies.
I just want the truth to be told.
These constant half truths are getting old.
For honesty I have a need.
These constant betrayals make me bleed.
Is there anybody out there I can trust.
Or is it all about lies and lust.
Do you really love me if you lie to me.
I can't be with you without honesty.
Is there not one person not afraid to plant the seed.
Is there anybody not afraid to lead.
Will you not be afraid will you be the one.
To tell the truth when all is said and done.
