CHAPTER 13:


** (RECAP/AUTHORS NOTE) im not actually going to put the entire last part of the chapter it'll be like 1 1/2 pages long so ill just say.....it was the dream/flashback of her first date with Evan and that's where I ended it...so enjoy guys!!! (END RECAP) **

I was awoken when somebody threw a bucket of ice cold water on my face. I screamed and sat up. My hair was dripping with freezing water and I started shivering uncontrollably.


I looked to see who it was and saw Evan smirking at me


"Rise and shine, sleeping beauty. Get up!"


I glared at him "what the fuck, Evan?" I shouted the words.


When I actually looked at him through the wet tresses of my hair plastered all over my face, I did see he had a bruise on his jaw line! I looked down at my right hand and saw it was bruised and swollen. I tried to lift my hand but it hurt too much; I winced in pain, I looked back to Evan, the bastard was smirking;


"Did I, or did I not say you would pay!" and pointed to his jaw. I rolled my eyes and used my left hand to point at my right one. His eyes followed my hand and smiled


"I think ive already paid enough. Now get out" I growled.


He shrugged "mum wants to see you down stairs in 5 minutes. Don't be late." And left. I threw some little wooden box at the door out of pure anger. I got up and winced at the pain of my hand. It was excruciating, I must have slept on it and made it worse. I carefully stripped out of my top and skirt from last night and put on a white singlet and snoopy boxer shorts. I made my way down stairs and into the kitchen but she wasn't there, I went into the lounge room she wasn't there so I went out into the backyard and found her sitting by the pool; baking In the sun. What time is it anyway?


I made my way over there and cleared my throat "you wanted to see me?"


She looked up and smiled "yes, have a seat" I warily sat down and looked at her. She looked at me cradling my hand to my chest.


Her eyes widened "how did that happen?"


I shrugged. She seemed thoughtful for a moment then spoke "does this have anything to do with the bruise on Evan's jaw?"


I didn't answer but she took that as a yes "what was it about this time?"


I looked at her. Wow! She's persistent, "well I got stuck at the party last night when Lacy got taken home in her car passed out drunk by some random guy. So I had no way of getting home so I called Evan and he came and got me" I gave a shrug after I finished.


She nodded "so how did it come to having a fist fight? Did something happen?"


I shook my head "nah, we just had an argument and lost our tempers" I held up my hand and winced in pain as I did "some more that others" ohh so not true. Why keep defending him?


She laughed "yes, I can see that. He didn't hit you back did he?" her face and tone was serious for the second part of her sentence. I shook my head "nope, he just took it like a man"


She nodded "good. Id have killed him myself if he had of. But enough talk about that I have something else I want to talk about." And smiled.


I looked at her "ok, shoot" she nodded


She let out a sigh before starting "it's about the whole incident with Gaby from Friday night"


I raised my eyebrow "I don't remember anything after we picked up Lacy and got to the party."


"Well as you're aware or you should be, you played a nasty prank on her and she wants you to pay for it."


I laughed "I don't care what she wants. She can go get fucked" I was now angry when I realized she was serious.


She looked at me with a disapproving look "language Alex. I'm making you do it no matter what. So go get dressed im taking you over to her house in 20 minutes."


I stood up "you have got to be kidding me. There is no way im saying sorry or making it up to her. She deserved a lot worse than she got. She should think herself lucky"


Cassidy's expression was coated in anger "you will do it, and that's the end of it. Whilst you live under my roof, you will do as I say Alex. Do you understand?"


I shook my head "no I don't. I'm not going and that's that, so I guess I'll go start packing my stuff."


I walked away "Alex wait" I heard her call


I turned and glared "I should be out of her within the hour. I better go start" and I went inside and slammed the door with my left hand. I went up the stairs and into my room and to the closet. I pulled out the suitcases with some difficulty and opened them up. I grabbed my clothes and stuffed them in, I grabbed my shoes next. I left the clothes and shoes I brought with their money.
