She went inside after giving me a hug and a sweet smile.

I can't believe I'd be leaving her in a matter of 7 days...

There that should do it. Thank heavens Jai isn't one to stress out on things or he might take the 'Don't be late or else' in a different, more violent matter and that threat was simply to deter him so he won't be late.

Or else? What the fuck does that mean?

Don't be late or else we're over? Don't be late or else I will demonstrate how sharp my knife is from my knife collection first hand? Don't be late or else you'll wake up the next day to find yourself in the middle of the Outback, there you'll have to survive for years, you'll only find filthy, contaminated water and a few berries here and there. You'll find yourself having mirages and talking to a kangaroo, the kangaroo will mother you as if you were her own and let you live in her pouch until you're fully grown. She sets you off into the wild again this time, you come across a dusty path, a road perhaps? You follow the road and you find out that the rest of mankind have been enslaved by aliens, then you try your best to beat the aliens but epically fail as when you charge at the mothership screaming 'This is Sparta!' you immediately get vaporised by one of those cool alien gun. In the afterlife you're reunited with your kangaroo foster mother as well as your fellow kangaroo brethren who you'd mingled in the past.
