Chapter One:
Foolish Intentions
I stared out at the green fields, bored and sad. I'd been to Poland before in the past, yet nothing had changed. It was still very much peaceful, too peaceful for my tastes.
"Evangeline..." the monotone voice of my companion brought me back to the present.
"Yes, Kristianity?" I asked, turning my head to face her.
She didn't say anything else, only pointing out her window at the passing scenery.
"Ah... Yes, it's very beautiful Kris..." I trailed off, seeing a flicker of a flame in the distance of the emerald field. "What is that? A fire?" I asked, waving out my window to stop the driver of the carriage.
"Lets check it out." I smiled, Kris gave a serious nod. We headed off towards the fire that had started to glow vibrant red and orange.
Upon approaching the blazing flames, we noticed there was a house underneath the flickering killer. "A house...?" I asked, looking at Kris, "What about the people that live here...?" I asked, worried.
Kris shook her head, "There's no sign of life, Evangeline," she stated.
I looked at the ground and sensed a presence. "Who's there?!" I asked gritting my teeth and glaring in the direction the person was standing.
"Hm?" a voice chimed. "You can feel I'm here, can you?" the voice stated.
After taking in the voice and thinking about, it was very...proper and ancient, much like my own it was a very gentle and seductive one. "Yes. I can." I told him. Yes, a him. That's what he was wasn't he?
The male chuckled once more and walked around the corner of the burning building. With crimson eyes and fiery locks, his beauty struck me with astonishment. The pure example of handsome, that man was. "Hello there, Milady." he smirked showing a pearly fang. "My, my, don't you look delicious~" he cooed, steeping closer, gracefully.
"Ah... Who are you...!? Why would you do that to that poor family...?" I stuttered, pointing at the building that was ablaze.
The man gave a cruel snort, "That family is on my land. They were pitiful fools that didn't pay their rent on time." he told, shrugging his shoulders covered in a brown trench coat.
"That's so cruel!!!" I screamed, clutching my hands to my chest and shaking my head. "Why would you do such a thing?" I whimpered.
He suddenly grabbed me with inhuman speed, licking his perfect lips. "I'm a very powerful person, my dear," he taunted, "I'm the only one of my kind; I'm the Crimson Eyed Killer, A Son of The Powerful War God, Asura...My name should sound very familiar, I'm Zelman Clock." Like the building was rigged with a bomb, it exploded after he revealed his name. Pieces of the building flew in all directions while disturbed ashes covered the area like a thin layer of fog.
My eyes widened, that name...isn’t he the man who can twist matter to make fire in an instant? The one with the mind that can make fire with just a thought!? "Z-Zelman...?" I whispered. The name rubbed my tongue like velvet.
"Yes...?" he asked, his arms had found their way around my waist and his hands had begun to rub my hips through the cloth. Where had Kris gotten off to...? "What... What are you going to do to me?"
He ran his cheek over mine and licked my ear as he let out a soft laugh. "I'm going to do to you what I do to any other pretty girl I find~" he chortled.
A soft gasp escaped as he ran his lips over my neck's largest vein; my jugular. "N-no... Mr. Clock...." I winced, scared, and clenched my eyes shut.
"Call me Zelman, Miss."
I could feel his lips form into a smirk against my skin as I whimpered "Z-Zelman..."
"What is it, Milady...?" he asked, his breath hot, tickling my pale skin.
"Please...don't drink my blood." Gripping tightly to his coat, and gritting my teeth.
Zelman's curious face appeared in front of my own. "Why's that? Are you a virgin?" A grin plastered on his smug face, probably because of the thought.
I flushed, "What type of a question is that to ask a Lady!?"
