The Man of my... Showers?! [Complete]

I woke up again to the sound of the door opening. Hushed whispers were being shared as feet crept across the carpet, closer towards us. Curious, I turned my head that was still tucked under Jace's chin and saw two faces hovering above us. Melanie and Anabelle were looking down at the two of us, matching grins of both of their faces. I knew Jace was still asleep from the steady rhythm of his breathing.

"Feeling better now Daine?" Melanie giggled. I smiled back at them. "You know I am." I closed my eyes and turned my head back to Jace, falling into my comfortable sleep once again.

The next time I woke up was from the soft beeping of my alarm clock. Lazily, I stretched my arm across Jace to hit the the off button, unfortunately waking him up in the process.
"Mmm?" He mumbled as he pulled me on top of him, half drowsy with sleep. At least I was able to finally reach the alarm clock in this position. "Daine?" He asked groggily. I looked down at him as he removed an arm around my waist to rub his eyes. "Yeah?" I whispered.

"Nothing," He whispered back as he placed his hand back to its original position and looked at me. "You still sick?" I blinked a few times before doing an assessment of my health. I still had that slight woozy feeling of having a fever, but other than that I felt much better than yesterday.

"A little. I think I'll take today off as well, and just go back to school tomorrow." I said, resting my chin against his chest as I continued to look at him. "I think I might have caught your fever," Jace mumbled, placing his hand on his forehead. I pushed his hand off and replaced it with my own, feeling a warmer temperature than usual.

"Damn. Sorry, I think I got you sick." He looked at me with a coy smile. "You know, that just means we can spend a sick day together." I returned his smile. "Well, aren't we both studious?" I joked.

I could see a thought click in Jace's mind. "Well," his voice turned husky, as if he was trying to be sexy. It worked. "I could teach you something. Probably wouldn't help with your academic study. I guess we could call it a stress reliever." I looked at him confused. "What?" I asked.

He chuckled silently, his chest vibrating under me. I continued to stare at him confused. "You still don't get it?" He asked seriously, leaning forward. "Nope," I said as I leaned forward to kiss him.

"Well, what's the next step in a relationship that involves no clothes?" He asked. And that's when it clicked. "Oh!" I leaned back to look at him.

"I'm only joking, don't worry," He murmured, brushing a few strands of my hair away from my face. "You know, I would if you really wanted to," I whispered, lying back on his chest. Surprisingly, I didn't find this topic that embarrassing. Maybe because I've had so many experiences of talking about sex with male friends that it's become less of a problem. When Jace didn't reply for a few minutes I tilted my head to look up at him again. "Jace?"

He looked down at me, blushed and turned away. Now it was my turn to chuckle. "Your shyer about sex topics than I thought." I repositioned myself so that I could lean on my arms and look down at him. "I thought you were totally comfortable with this topic hmm?"

He was still facing away from me. "Shut up." He replied gruffly. I chuckled again as I gave him a kiss on the cheek and got off the bed to make up some breakfast.

Soon enough, the rest of the room was up. Melanie and Anabelle got ready for school as I got back under the covers with a tray of last night's dinner. The girls left some aside for Jace and I in the fridge.

"Lasagne? For breakfast?" Jace asked incredulously. "Just eat. It's left overs from dinner and we did skip out on that meal last night." I pushed the plate forward to him as he sat up and leaned back against wall. "Thanks," he took the plate from my hands and started to dig in. I did the same, watching as the two girls came out from their wardrobes all ready for school. "Have fun," I told them as they left the room, waving to us before shutting the door.

"So, what are we going to do? Continue with our warm snuggling, but on the couch with some good kid cartoons? "I asked as I finished off my plate of lasagne.

"Good idea to me."

And so the rest of the morning was spent with a good deal of kissing and hugging with spongebob and patrick being our witnesses.
