"I hate going to Chemistry. Mrs. Connor is always on my case." I said. I was walking to Chem with my gorgeous friend Hailey. She had blonde hair instead of my brown and green eyes while I had a boring shade of gray. She was tall and her skin was flawless. All the guys fall for her.

"She so doesn't hate you Eliza! If anyone it would be me since I am failing her class," she said. Did I mention Hailey wasn't that smart? "She hates everyone!" I said while walking down the hall heading to her classroom. Our halls were bland but there were posters hanging up saying, "Vote for Amy," and, " Vote Sunny To Handle Your Money."

Ding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Uh oh! The bell! Hailey and I started running then. You were sure to get on Mrs. Connor's bad side for being late. We were in the doorway by the time the bell stopped ringing and were greeted by a smirk on Mrs. Connor's face. " Well, Hailey and Eliza, seems like you just made it in time. I was on my way to locking the door on you and you would've had to stay in the hall all during class. Go get in your seats and start your quiz!"

"Yes ma'am," we both said quietly while walking to our desks. Hailey took her usual seat beside me while I sat down to look at the quiz and started it reluctantly. After I finished I turned it in and sat quietly in my seat since there is no talking while a quiz is out.

Just as I was about to start tapping my pencil the door opened and the most gorgeous boy walked in. He had blonde hair with brown streaks in it and emerald green eyes that shone like diamonds. He was lean yet muscular and walked with confidence in every step. He walked all the way to Mrs. Connor who was wearing her ever present smirk and handed her a note. She looked at the note to make sure it was real then stood up.
"Class this is Sam Douglass he is a new student here and I hope you make him feel welcome,"

I looked at Sam and saw a brilliant smile. Pathetic probably just moved here from Constance Day. Constance was the elite school that my smart brother went to. You had to either be rich or incredibly smart to go there. I looked at Hailey and saw her flirty smile. Hailey always seemed to go for the boys who had blond hair.

After Mrs. Connor sat down and pointing to the empty desk behind me said," Sam you can go sit behind Eliza. Oh, and Eliza? Wipe that smile off your face. We don't want you drooling all over your desk." I sat there looking stunned. I knew she hated me! Sam made his way down the aisle looking at everyone closely and stopped beside me to give me a smirk and sat down behind me and stretched in the chair.

I turned around to face him and said with the best smile I could muster at this time and said," Just to let you know I wasn't drooling."

He studied me then gave a mocking laugh," Haha sure you weren't Eleeze."

I felt my cheeks redden. I cannot believe the nerve of this guy! I was only trying to defend myself and he didn't even call me the right name.
I gave him a smirk which he laughed at then I turned around to see Mrs. Connor in front of me looking down angrily."Eliza, I wasn't aware that the no talking rule during a quiz was changed."

I looked around the classroom and everyone was staring at me. I turned for help from Hailey but she just looked at ahead quickly ignoring my pleading gaze. Thanks a lot.

"No ma'am it hasn't changed," I said sadly knowing what was coming next. "Good. Then I hope to see you in detention where we can go over the rules again and make sure you know them." She said giving me a devilish smile and walking over to her desk. I felt my whole face turn red. I hate him so much. He is so cocky and full of himself! I can hear him behind me the whole time snickering. He can't even try to hide it. I will get him back then he will be sorry.
