Reese said he wanted to talk but he hadn't said another word since we entered my bedroom. He just wondered around looking at objects and photo's placed around the room. I sat in the middle of my bed watching him confused. I crossed my legs and put my elbow on my knee resting my chin on my hand.

"So," I said and he jumped nearly dropping the photo he held in his hands. He smiled sheepishly and placed it back before he could drop it. "You wanted to talk?" I asked and nodded.

"I wanted to talk about the last time we saw each other."

"When I caught you in my room yesterday?" I asked and he gave me a flat look. "Ok." I mumbled for him to continue. Yes, I'll admit, I was just as nervous as he seemed to be.

"I-Carrie just has a way of getting under my skin, I'm sorry I lashed out on you. It wasn't fair and-and I was wrong. Carrie told me some bullshit yet again and I fell for it...yet again." He sat on the end of my bed with his back facing me and sighed.

"After...After you I didn't talk to anyone. I was so angry. Jazzy, Ryan, all of them, even Fiona tried talking to me but I wouldn't listen. Not until Fiona barged into the bathroom when I was in the middle of having a shower." He chuckled humourlessly as I sat in silence and listened.

"I pulled back the curtain and looked at her like she had gone mad. I asked what the hell she was doing and she just shut the door, put the lid down on the toilet and sat on it with her arms crossed. She said "it's about time you start listening and not running away, now I've got you here, you have no option but to listen." She'd even grabbed the towels to make sure I couldn't get out." He shook his head.

"I didn't realise how stubborn she could be." I did. "She told me everything, about Carol. The past you had with her. She yelled at me for being stupid and yelling at you. She gave me a good lecture while I stood cold and wet completely naked the other side. It was the same day your mum came and told us about your dad passing, she broke down to my mum and I caught bits and pieces of their conversation. I heard her telling mum that she was a bad mum to you and actually sending you here was the best thing for you.

"I asked Fiona if she knew where you were and she told me you went to England. I was too late. I'm sorry Adalynn," It still gave me warm feelings when he said my name. "I really am." He got up to leave and I frowned.

"Where are you going?" I asked and he looked back.

"I've been a jerk to you, you really want me to stay?" He asked.

"Is it ok if I say yes?" I stood up off the bed. "Reese, it was a bad day, a really, really bad day. Carol can be pretty believable, I know. And let's face it, I didn't make a good first impression did I? England gave me time to think things through and gave me the fresh start I needed. I realised a lot of things and one of those things was that I couldn't stop thinking about you no matter how many damn times much I tried not too." I said shaking my head. He smiled and I looked down at my hands feeling embarrassed. "Any way," I said changing subject. "How's Fliss?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Don't know." He shrugged still looking at me with a goofy smile.

"Don't know?" I questioned.

"Haven't spoken to her. She got really obsessive over me when you left and went spreading rumours that we were together and she'd even show up at my house. She was crazy." Don't smile, don't smile. Damn. I couldn't help smiling at that fact.

My phone went off, blasting the bad boys theme tune from the movie and I groaned. I knew who it was, he set the tone himself for only him.

"I'll call you back."
