PLEASE VOTE AND COMMENT,
thankyouverymuch (: -Ann- "Oh, my God." She exclaimed. "You guy's are vampires too!" She backed away from them and felt trapped as her back clashed to the wall. God, please don't let them drain me. She was shivering. "Ann, honey, we're here to help." Ellie said in her silvery voice. Her voice soothed Ann, eventhough she was suppose to be afraid. Beth hissed. "Yeah, more like drain you." Beth flashed her fangs again and grinned at her. "Beth," Ellie's voice was strained and held a warning. Beth then backed off and rolled her eyes. "It's not like I'm going to do anything to her, mother." She said. "What do you want from me?" Ann's eyes wide. "We want to know why do you need the ring?" Ellie told her. "I can't, well, I can't tell you that!" Ann couldn't trust anyone. Especially when she got betrayed by Alec. "Yes, and you will." Beth growled. "Back off, will you?" Ann lost her patience. Beth's fangs emerged once again. Vampires fangs comes out when they're mad? Ann thought. "It's okay, Annabelle. Elizabeth meant you no harm. We were in fact, waiting for this day. For you." "For..for me?" Ann stammered. "Yes. It appears that you don't really know us yet." Ellie smiled politely and held Ann's hand. "We're the Denali Clan. This is my adopted daughter, my husband changed her when she was suffering from a car crash. And Alec, I take it that you know him? My husband, Ronald Denali, changed him too. He wanted to leave us. Because we fed on humans, we have to. You see, we are known as the most powerful vampires in the world. The Denalis, and we couldn't afford to let down our guard by using animal blood." Ellie sighed as Beth scoffed. "But now, thanks to the help of synthetic blood. We're not killing anyone." "I doubt Alec knows that though." Beth said. "He left us," Ellie acknowledged sadly "He couldn't live like us. He was one of the most powerful, actually, the most powerful vampire in the world. He didn't want to kill. He said that that made him a....monster. And we tracked him and followed him everywhere." "Why?" Ann asked, listening attentively. "He thought we wanted him. Capture him, made use of him." Beth said. "Of course daddy won't do such a thing." "Well, we were only trying to keep him away from this. From Saraphine." Ellie finally answered her question. "Saraphine? Why?" "When Ronald knew what Saraphine did from the sorceress, he knew something wasn't right. Saraphine was a good woman but that was before she got ill. She would do anything to get immortality after that." Ellie shook her head. "We had to keep him safe then. He was like our son. He's powerful, and if he misused his power when Saraphine....resurrects." Ann could see that Ellie was struggling to find the right word. "You see," Beth for the first time, used a gentler voice. "Once Saraphine..resurrects, he'll get all love drunk again and well there'll be havoc. So we have to find that someone who's body Saraphine needed, who turned out to be you. So we need you." "Help us, help Alec." Ellie pleaded. Ann shifted her position uncomfortably and looked at her feet. "I don't know. I'm going to die anyway. Saraphine said that we'll both die in six more days unless someone performs the rite." Ann's voice thick with tears. "And..a..and Alec is going to kill me. He's going to choose Saraphine. He didn't want me at all. From the start," Ann thought bitterly. "He came near me just for Saraphine." "Wait, you mean you saw Saraphine??" Beth asked. "She's in me. She listens to everything I do, looks at everything. She watches me. And sometimes, she takes over my body. It's very, painful, knowing that my body is mine and somehow..not mine." Ann sighed. "She's listening?" Ellie gasped. "No, not now. She's asleep and weak. I've been fighting her all evening. She usually takes over when I'm weak. That's why I can't afford to be weak. I need the ring, Ellie. I;m begging you. I have a dad. My mom died years ago. And I don't think he can bear to lose me." Ann begged, tears streaming down her face. Ellie went to her and stroked her hair. "Oh precious, we will save you from Saraphine. We will. Trust us." "I don't really like you," Beth told her, "But I hate that bitch in you right now." She growled. "Well, she's not very likable. She's...a whiner." Ann blushed. "Well, look. We actually have something in common." And for the first time, Beth actually smiled warmly towards her. -Alec- Alec listened to every word Ann and the Denalis were conversing. Those liars. The Denalis didn't know about Saraphine! They just wanted his power. Saraphine's innocent! They..fuck! Alec's thoughts weren't clear now. He needed to get the ring and save Saraphine. Then everything would be fine. And somehow, the ring is in there.
