Sad Poems

8

These are some poems that I wrote the other day. They ain't that great but tell me what you think.

TO MANY PROMISES

Too many promises
Too many lies
One hearts not broken
As another dies
Too many tears
As she cries
Rage boils in her blood
As another falls from her eyes
While he doesn't hurt
He doesn't feel
He thinks about his own appeal
He know she hurts
He knows she cries
Her wouldn't care if she dies
She waits and hopes
And tries to cope
With what she's lost
Before the frost
He sits at home
And he fears he's not alone
While his eyes trace the floor
Footsteps where none were before
As he raises his eyes
And to his surprise
She stands there alone
Each and every bone
Her tears reach the floor
He can't stop her before
She is gone again
Into the wind
Her broken heart
Was just another work of art

As She Keeps

As she fights to keep
Her weary heart from sleep
She rest her eyes
Upon her demise
She knits her heart
Into a work of art
And her heart is torn
Each and every thread adorned
With a fragile symbol
Small as a thimble
Of her love
And her glory above
For what she wished
She made a list
Of wants and needs
For whom she seeks

@houseofnight your welcome!! omg ten minutes? if you did what most famous poets do and spend ages shaping what the reader would perceive from their work you would be VERY famous!!! But this is awesome stuff, better than some poems i've read by people who have been published.
Keep it going Shakespeare, hey new nickname for you! lol

Thanks!!!! I wrote these because of some of the things I was feeling at the time. I wrote both of them in probably less than ten minutes so i wasn't sure how good they were but thank you.

W-O-W-Z-E-R that was amazing
very deep poems
I loved them, and they made so much sense too, but mostly so many people can interoperate then into what's happening in their own lives. I do have to say that the first one "Too many promised was my favourite out of the two.
Please do write more.
Look forward to it
