Paybacks A BITCH But So Am I... (Swans don't get mad)

 I opened my eyes with a small smile , fully rested.

Yes!

I beat the alarm. I turned and look at my clock, 7.29am , crap. I reached for the clock...

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I groaned, my was my clock so frickin' loud sometimes. I slammed my hand down on it, the noise stopped.

There, much better.

I stood up and stretched, a yawn escaping from my lips. Congratulating myself that I made my hot musician friend bring me straight to dinner after school, otherwise who knows how late we could have stayed out. I need my beauty sleep too you know.

He was a little disappointed at first. But I had to show him who's boss, I could tell he thought I was desperate to go out with him. Me desperate? Ha! I wasn't going to dress up for him and act like it was a date, it wasn't. He wanted to give me a ride home and I was making the most of it, plus I was actually really hungry.

I smiled, remembering our 'date'. It was fun. I felt like clogging my arteries so he took me to a Diner. I used to go there all the time with my Dad when I was little. I didn't tell him that of course, no way. I'm not telling anyone who I am, not until Tanner gets his Sherlock on and finds out.

I learnt a lot of things, his name was Jamie, he had only come to Sparks last year, he was in a band (told you he was a hot musician), he wrote his own songs and even a little poetry. I almost laughed at that, did he really expect me to fall for the sensitive artist act? After about an hour of talking, eating and harmless flirting, he drove me home. He introduced mr to his  tongue piercing too, if you get my drift..

I smirked. Yep that was entertaining.

I had a quick shower. I came back into my room, put on a pair of skinnys, a grey v-neck t-shirt that was just low enough and my favourite pair of black Jimmy Choo ankle boots (a gift from Emma). I put on some lipgloss and shook out my wet hair, letting it fall in waves around me.

I went downstairs, toasted a bagel (cinamon,yum) and drank some orange juice. Dad had already gone to work so no lift today, I'm pretty sure Eric won't be coming to my rescue, not after me humilliating him yesterday. I smirked, it was totally worth it though, the look on his face, priceless.

I grab my bag and headed out to school. I had barely turned the corner when a car pulls up beside me. What am I? A frickin' hitch-hiker? Not that I'm complaining or anything, no wait I am! Do I really look like the kind of girl to just hop in a car with a complete stranger? Then I remembered yesterday, oops, I guess I am... my bad.

I'm too busy, mentally arguing with myself to even see who it was. I snaped back to reality. And turn to see who my 'complete stranger' is. The first thing I notice is the car.

I don't know anything about cars but I already know everything about this one. I blinked, last time I saw this car it was on blocks with no engine but that was three years ago...Now? It definitely had four wheels and I'm pretty positive there an engine in there somewhere and it's been painted electric blue. I smiled, this wasn't a 'complete stranger's' car, it was Tanner's.

I smiled excitedly, did he know? He rolled down the window, I bent down, leaning my elbows on it, looking into the car. I could feel myself  tingling with anticipation, Had he figured it out?

He stared at my chest.

Nope, still no idea.

I sighed.

"Did you want something Tanner? or do you usually try to pick up random girls at street corners?" I asked innocently.

He blushed a little. Did I just make him blush? Ha I'm so going to use that against him later...

The blush was quickly replaced with a flirtatious smile..

Yeah, he definitely has no idea.

"I was just driving to school and I saw you walking by, figured you'd like a lift"

I gasped in fake surprise,

"You know me so well!"

Irony much?

He chuckled.

"Hop in or were gonna be late."

I got in the car. We didn't drive off. I turned to look at him, he was staring at me but he quickly averted his eyes. Oh God please let him find out soon, this is killing me.

"Well what are you waiting for? Step on it or we're gonna be late".

He smiled, saluting me.

"Yes Captain" ,he said putting the car into gear and driving off.

"So you must live close by huh? I asked.
