Alec couldn't betray her. Alec can't, Ann thought.
Yes, yes he can. He doesn't love you Ann, he loves me. All the love you felt was a part of me. And I'm a part of you. For now. Saraphine laughed and continued. I will take your body soon. And he would love me, have me.
Ann raised her hand a held it to her chest, feeling as thought she had just been punched in the stomach. She could feel Saraphine weakening already. Ann then shut her out completely. This has never happened since six years ago. She thought it was over. "Apparently not." Ann laughed bitterly, thinking what a joke God played on her.
She tried to remove her necklace but it wouldn't come out. She took a scissors and tried to cut it. But the chain was just so stubborn.
I trusted Alec. But he misused my trust, Ann thought. She thanked God that she was going to be alone at home for the next four months. She needed to be alone. Riley Granger was going for an assignment in Costa Rica. But she was going to have a hard time with Aunt Ginger, her father's older sister. She was a pain in the ass.
Ann threw herself on the bed and tried to sleep. When she was about to drown in a deep sleep, her phone rang. She cursed softly and answered her phone. It was three in the morning, she sighed.
"Hey." Alec said.
"It's three in the morning you moron!"
"I know. I..just wanted to say-"
"To say how sorry you were? Save it."
"Ann-" Ann laughed bitterly.
"How sure are you that I am Ann? I might be your wife. Saraphine?"
"No, you're Ann."
"How sure-"
"Sara doesn't talk like that!" Alec yelled over the phone.
"You called just to talk to her didn't you?" She whispered. "Didn't you? Answer me God damn it!!"
"I-"
"That's it. You came to me because of Saraphine. All this while, even from the beginning." Ann closed her eyes.
Alec didn't answer her question.
"Figures." Ann whispered and hung up.

How can Saraphine be here? My wife. My love. My destiny. Alec thought. Maybe Sara was right. Maybe he was attracted to her because Sara was a part of her. Alec sighed and ran back to his home.
He still felt disorientated by everything that has happened. So many things happen in such a short time.
He had to save Saraphine. All his life he has been waiting for Saraphine. Believing that somehow, she still lives. But in order to save Sara, you have to kill Ann. Alec felt something squeeze his heart. "What am I suppose to do??" Alec yelled in frustration at his four walls.
After what took like a few hours to calm Alec down, he called Ann. Or his wife, he didn't know which.
He talked to Ann and felt like a piece of crap. All Ann did was fall in love with him. Alec could read it in her mind. Ever since he knew Sara was there, he could go in her mind.
Ann or Sara? What would he do if he had to choose. He couldn't bear to loose them both. They meant alot, too much to him.
Sara, his lovely, innocent, wonderful wife, he loved so deeply.

Alec couldn't think of anything. Now that he have his wife back. Isn't he suppose to rejoice and think of a way to save his wife? That wasn't how he felt. He didn't know what he felt. He only knew that he was confused.
For the first time in his life, the most powerful vampire in the world, confused. He chuckled, almost sarcastically. It would be funny if he wasn't the one in this situation.
He knew how to save Sara or Ann. He just needed to perform the ritual. To release either Sara's or Ann's soul. He had a choice to make. He then got a text message from Ann.

'You've got to perform the rite on me, baby. Or we will both die in seven days time. Love, your dearest wife.'

When Ann fell asleep, Saraphine woke up and took control of Ann's body. She sighed as she felt the smooth sheets on her bed. Finally she get to feel things. Being stuck in a body wasn't as fun as she thought it would be. She thought that it would be interesting and then she would find Alec. Now that she found Alec, she knew she could be set free.
Not that little bitch who's trying to steal my husband. Sara has got to convince Alec fast or Ann would steal his heart away. And he would choose her over her, She would never ever let it happen.
She has got to live. She then looked to her side and saw this weird gadget beside the pillow. How strange. She thought. It was made of metal and she flipped it open and lights came on instantly. She gasped and threw the lighting metal across the room. How odd.
