Chapter 5. Soul Mates ~Mason~

I kicked the biter repeatedly until Edwin pulled me away. I'm mad, I mean come on he bite Silver! I hate him, I want to kill him. But I can't because Edwin won't let me go. Finally he passed out so now I can focus all my attention on Silver.

Lana was taking care of her, you know like CPR? I made my way over there and sat by Lana. She looked at me worried. Of course she's worried, she's my best friend. Lana ran over to go help Alexander so I scooted up and started stroking her cheek.

She's beautiful, I wish I could tell her how I feel but then she would hate me for the rest of my life, and I couldn't risk that. Her eyes fluttered open. I smiled. She sat up and looked around. I wander what she's looking for.

"where's Alexander?" Alexander? What does she want with him?

"Over there. Lana's been taking care of him." she stood up and walked over to Lana. What does she like him? I stood up and walked over to them. I sat down next to Lana and watched Silver push the hair the hair away from his eyes. The anger was back slowly crawling up my spine. And then boom it rushed over my body...she kissed him. I just watched the love of my life kiss the guy I truly hate.

I have to tell her. There could be chance if I just tell her.

"Lana why don't you take care of Alexander. I have to talk to Silver." Silver stood up and Lana switched spots. She watched us as we walked to the big oak tree. I smiled and grabbed her hands. I looked straight into those gorgeous violet eyes.

"Silver." She looked back which made me blush.

"Silver I love you." Relief washed over me. I gave her a big smile but she didn't smile back. She was more shocked than happy.

"Mason." I never stopped smiling.
"Yes?" She let go of my hands but never looked away.

"I love someone else." Inside of relief this time it was pain.

"Alexander?" She nodded. Of course it was Alexander. One things for sure, my heart's broken. I stopped looking at her and slowly walked away. I walked past Lana and all my gang. I sat in a chair. I just want to leave.

Alexander woke up. He looked around, probably for Silver. He found her and ran right to her. I watched them hold hands and kiss. Gross. Then the word I really didn't want to hear right now.

"Silver, were soul mates."
