He said he would be there 
each day and each night

He said he would love her 
and hold her tight

He said he would care for her
though sickness and pain

He said he would never leave her
even if it sounded insane

He said he was lucky 
she had everything

He said he would see her during the evening
He said he would be there for her and never say goodbye
and he will keep his word till they both die
