Hi, my name is Charlotte. I was born in Arkansas, and am 13 years old. I am starting at a new school soon, and would like to share my adventures with anyone willing to listen. Oh, and also, I love popsicles. :) Being the youngest child isn't always easy, can I get an Amen for that? I have an older brother and sister. My brother is still in high school, and my sister is off for her second semester of college in a couple of weeks. My mom is an interior designer, and my father works non-stop at a Piedmont corporation thingamabob.

Speaking of bob, that's my dad's name. If there is anyone out there that has a father named Bob, you should know how annoying it is. Why is it that everyone assumes that if your name is Bob you are automatically stupid? Anyway, back to the trials of being a girl, and the pros and cons of being Christian.

Being a girl is tough. Plain and simple. For some reason, we are all a little over dramatic, and  self-conscious. Most of us, around the time of 12, 13, 14, ext., want a boyfriend. Or is that just me? Ha ha. But when you have restricting parents, it can be difficult. I am not allowed to go on a date until I am sixteen. Sixteen!!! So right now, at this time and age, I am going to concentrate on my education, and, most importantly, God. I mean, if I can't date till I am sixteen-ugh!-then why waste my time day dreaming, and, and, making myself look sexy? So, no.

I read in a book once that guys are trying to(at least some of them)maintain a relationship with God too. So why shoud we distract them in church by wearing tight skirts, or low-cut shirts? Especially since it isn't going to do you any good until you're sixteen!?!!! The only thing it's going to do is this.

 Boy: Um... hi,

Girl: Oh, hey! How are you doing?

Boy: Just fine thanks, um... so do you wanna hang out some time?

Girl: Do you mean...like a date?

Boy: Well, normally at this point I would say 'just as friends' but, that dosen't really work anymore so...yeah, like a date.

Girl: Darn my parents! Look, I like you, but I can't go on a date till I am sixteen, so maybe in couple years???

Boy: ....um, yeah! sure.

And Boy walks away leaving Girl to beg her parents for a smaller age limit to no avail.

The End.

Does any girl, ever, anywhere, ever want that to happen, or worse, you sneak out and get caught, Boy dosen't talk to you, you're grounded and the age limit is moved up to eightteen. Happy??? So like I said, God, schoolwork.

Here's a tip to all of you out there. Instead of reading sappy romance novels, and pretending we are in that novel, and eventually getting heartsick cause the guy you like isn't taking the hints, read books that will help you strengthen yourself in God, and help you in the long run. Right now I am reading a book called remember mercy, that one of my relatives wrote. Every evening I read one chapter, it really helps my dreams stay on track. There aren't many interesting economics reads out there, but whenever a missionary comes to preach at our church, they will have a few. If you ever need companions that are cheerful God-fearing people, then come visit Atlanta West Pentecostal Church.

 I loves you guys!
