Chapter Two

I was so happy to see David he pulled my tight and hugged me, careful of my leg.

"good god, David, don't leave me ever again."

"shhh..." he said rocking me "I promise you that I won't." he rocked me like you might a baby.

My leg was burning and I couldn't help but gasp and sometimes sob, too loudly. Finally after a long time he picked me up. My brother. My twin. I loved him so much it hurt. I would do anything for him , the same vice versa. He began walking to sheltered bit under a piece of plane. Then a man walked over. Everything seemed dreamlike, including the pain in my leg. The man seemed familiar. His hair was blonde and neat and his eyes were a sad blue. He was tall and muscular. He saved me. A part of my mind whispered., but I didn't understand it. I was losing to the dark, it was laughing at me and I was Falling into it.

"David" I whimpered and then I was out.
