p.s. i hope you enjoy learning about america! we have foreign exchange students from france, belgium, and australia, we get a lot of foriegn exchange students and they love it here in america so hopefully you like hearing about it haha.

yep, right now its winter here.. and i live in the illinois area so things are different, but school wise its prolly close to being the same lol. umm i love american football, i love to watch it but its really complicated to explain lol, basically the have this ball they have to take to the other side and there are two teams, they have 4 downs they have to get the ball so far, which means they have 4 tries.. thats not all cuz its so hard to describe not in person lol. my school doesnt have to have a uniform, a lot of smaller schools dont, specially in the illinois area. usually only private schools that have to wear uniforms, which are more expensive schools to go to but i dont really know why.. walmart is a store, its nationwide in america. its soo popular, its a big store that has all your needs! its slogan is: save more. live better. lol in our school system there are 2 semesters. and 4 quarters. there are 2 quarters which are in each semester. the first semester is before Christmas break and the second one is after Christmas break. we have classes that just last a semster and classess that are the whole school year. our holdays vary depending on when the holidays are lol and yeah with the t.v. shows, theres usually the popular girls and guys and what not lol and in schools you do have those popular girls and guys who think theyre better than everyone, but they arent, money and looks arent the only important thing personality is what matters most :) well i hope you get your snow sometime!

after school a lot of my friends hang out, but its cold so usually we just go home and watch tv or gety on the internet :) um.. on the weekends where i live a lot of people go shopping to malls, go out to eat, go to walmart, stay the night at each others houses.. ect. i dont know if im right about this but since we have a president and not a queen then we MIGHT (idk tho) have mroe freedoms.. idk how your guys's queen thing works out.. but itd be interesting to know

oh i know im commenting a lot lol, sorry about that.. i just read your thing up there and it asked the subjects so heres some:
Earth Science, General science, Foods 1, foods 2, clothing and textiles, chemistry, botany and zoology, health, physical education, family and consumer science, leadership and philanthropy, band, chior, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, college biology, pottery, beginning arts, intermediate art, introduction to ag, world cultures, civics, psychology, jouralism, mass media, college algebra, computer graphics, business and tech concepts. we also have clubs such as ag which is a farming club, science club, FCCLA which is Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. its a club for high schooler to go out of there comfort zone and get comunity service which helps us A LOT for college scholarships. theres a math club.. and i guess thats all for now!

idk if you want to know this but we get out for holidays just like other schools, our holidays however, may be different than yours.. idk if you need to know all that detail but it is cool to know :) just ask me anything and id be glad to help out!

so about your question in the end, i would prefer b) ROMANCE. its hard to write vampire stories because of the twilight saga and the blue bloods series which are really good, but if you really wanted to do vampires im sure you could find a way to make it work :)

okay idk if this will help but i will try. most kids start school in kindergarten when they are 5 or 6 yrs of age
then its 1st grade - 6 or 7 yrs
2nd- 7or 8
3rd- 8 or 9
4th- 9 or 10
5th- 10 or 11
6th- 11 or 12
7th - 12 or 13
8th- 13 or 14
9th (freshman yr)- 14 or 15
10th (sophomore yr)- 15 or 16
11th (junior yr)- 16 or 17
12th (senior yr)- 17 or 18

thats usually how old you are in each grade. we get out for summer break in the end of may. then we start school again in the end of august startin the next grade. if you wanna list of what classes our skool offers id be glad to tell you but schools differ. we also get out of school for winter break a few days before Christmas then come back usually January 4th or something like that. sum skools get a full week off of skool 4 spring break (thats party week for colleges) it just snowed like last week and we got about 3 or 4 inches & this week its raining but its still really cold. my high school starts at 8:10 am & ends at 3:10 & our elementary school (kindergarten- 6th grade) starts at 8 am to 3 pm. & our junior high (7th and 8th grade) is from 8:05- 3:05. this is because we have 3 different schools which all have different grade levels as you saw. the school buses cant be three places at once so they go to elementary first, then junior high, & high school so they get out accordingly. umm.. in the summers we get 80 degrees F through 100 F but that all depends on where you live & on good days its 60 or 70 degrees F. our tv programs, we mainly just call tv shows, theres all kind of shows if you want more details i can help more considering i live in mid U.S. for grading theres A's which are the best which is 90% &up. then B's(80% to 89%) C's(70% to 79%) D's(60% to 69%) & F's anything lower than 59%) idk why they skipped E's lol but we dont get E's. if you dont have the same grading i could also describe to you about it. we have a lot of sprts. anymore qyestions then please ask! sorry for not replying sooner!

oh and on weekends if its football season, every friday our school band plays at the beginning of school and everyone claps, like a pep ralley? if you have those and then after school ends at 2:30 everyone gos home and gets dressed in our school colors and goes to the game that usually starts at 7:00pm but everyone usually is there by 6:30pm to get a goos seat and we have a student section(consisting of kids from school where all of us scream and root for our team) and all the parents and adults sit across the field screaming and cheering and clapping
