The animals call to us
But do we hear?
They try and try to reach us
To only have their voices carried off
In the wind.
The voices of wisdom
We do not hear.
The ancient cries
Long for us to understand.
The Wolf howls in the distance.
Above the sharp cry of the Eagle.
These are the voices of nature.
We do not understand
Because we do not try.
