My Life as Luke?!

So thank you too xFallKiss for making these 3 lovely covers. The one I used is of course, the cover ;D and the other two are on the side. Anyway, on with the A/N and prologue to the book, My Life As Luke.

** I realized after I thought of the title, that it reminded me of that show i always hear people talking about called my life as Liz xD But I like the title so I'm sticking with it! :P Anyways, I was inspired by a friend of mine from my child hood. We decided to pull a prank, and pretend I was some cousin of myself named Hailey, and I was British xD I was messed as a child. What the Heck! I'm still messed up now xD But I decided that I should write a story similar to my experience of being another person. Except super diffren't xD So here's your preview. Tell me what you think :DD And Enjoy !

I walked down the familiar halls of my lovable high school, admiring the last day I was going to be considered sane. It was hard to believe that tomorrow, my dare with Luke was going to happen. That tomorrow, I would be considered mental. I sighed. Its not like I was pressured to do this dare.

Okay, I so was. But at least I wasn't the only one to be considered mental starting tomorrow.  I left my thoughts at ease as I came around to my locker. Though when I got there I saw the one and only Luke Linctus. My best friend. He looked pretty smug considering what he had to do tomorrow.

  His piercing blue eyes always had an advantage on me when it came to something Luke wanted. Which is how he got me to do this stupid dare in the first place.

Luke was an average guy, though different then most, but also the exact same. He was considered a jock since he played soccer and rugby. He was also on the track team. Luke had shaggy dirty blond hair that fell in his eyes. He was quite tanned, and pretty slim, yet fairly muscular. Today, he wore a white v-neck, that hugged his six pack. He wore dark wash blue skinny jeans, and bright green converses.

"Why don't you take a picture? It will be one thing that you wont forget." A smirk played on his lips. One thing about me. I'm forgetful. 

"I would take one, but you still have my camera." I said, smiling evilly. Being best friends with someone like Luke had its ups and downs.

He looked at me, thoughts running through his eyes. I could tell he was trying to think of another comeback, but he was failing miserably. I waited a minute before getting smug.

"You lose!" I said. Luke laughed.

"I'll only lose when the clouds rain money Kaylee." He said.

"The clouds already did that." I said laughing at his dumbstruck face. "Did you forget the time when some guy threw money out of an airplane?" It was one of the best days of my life that day. It was how I had got my dog Khat. I was five. I didn't know how to say kite. Yes, I wanted my dog to be named Kite. I was obsessed with kites. Get over it.

I looked down at my cell phone to see we had five minutes to get to class.

"Move." I said pushing Luke away from my locker.

"Feisty one aren't ya?" He said in a teasing tone.

"Only when we have five minutes to get to class." I said.

"Crap! I need to get my books!" Luke said dashing off with no good bye. I sighed. How did I get into these things?

 I walked over to me first class thinking about our dare. It was rather simple, but quite complicated at the same time.

My thoughts suddenly stopped as I walked into the classroom. Mr.Irkson was giving a lecture about god knows what. I rushed to my seat  even though the bell hadn't rang yet.

My thoughts moved back to the dare in which I was to complete. I sighed once more and let myself actually pay attention to what Mr.Irkson was saying instead of getting nervous over this thing.

Life was like the devil. It always would turn to the worst.

P.S. I don't know if Linctus is a word, but apparntly to the spell check, its apporved so Im using it for a last name xD I'll change it if it means something stupid or bad :P***
