Triplets

Hey guys,
This is a story that I've started writing. it will get better I promise. The preface isn't he best I could have done but uh well. I might edit it and repost. Let me know what you think. I appreciate all types of comments!

Preface

"Dear Lord, please help my babies to find good homes. I pray they might be reunited in the future if it is in your will to separate them now. I understand I should be punished for my wrong doings, but please forgive me. I have sinned and I am ready to pay my dues. In the name of the holy ghost, Amen," seventeen year old Jaymee Sullivan prayed before walking into the aged orphanage.
"Hello Darlin', Welcome to Danbury's best orphanage. I'm Mrs. Stacy Wright and I can help with anything and everything. Aw- them little eyes- how old are they?" A cheerful blonde asked in a very thick southern drawl. Jaymee forced a smile across her face and replied, "They are all one month old- triplets." Jaymee, Alice, and Stephen set down the car seats and sat down on the large wooden chairs at Stacy's desk. "How sweet they are. Alrighty then, what are your names?" Stacy took another look at the precious faces sleeping in their seats.
"I'm Jaymee Sullivan."
'I'm her mother Alice Sullivan."
"And I'm Jaymee's ex-boyfriend Stephen Gonzalez."
"I see, and why do you feel the need to put these precious faces up for adoption?"
"My daughter is still a child, how on earth would she take care of three other children full time while she is still in high school?" Alice had a stern, undesirable look on her pale face.
Jaymee wiped away tears that were now falling on her rosy cheeks and Stephen put his arm around her. She shrugged it off and gave him a dirty look. Stacy broke the tension with paperwork, "Here yall go. If you could fill these out we will have the girls up for adoption by tomorrow.
