Last month you gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He's your first boy as you already have a sweet girl who's 3 years old now.
Harry, your husband, chose your daughters name so this time you chose your sons. You named him (y/b/n), an adorable name for an adorable little boy.
Recently, Darcy, your little girl, has been very upset, refusing to talk to you and Harry. You understand that she is jealous since she's not an only child anymore, and whenever you try and talk to her she runs away.
Tonight she wouldn't come out of her room no matter what you said, so as soon as Harry came home from work you begged him to cheer her up.
He walks through the door and greets you and (y/b/n), then slowly walks into Darcy's room.
You put (y/b/n) down and stand beside her room, watching and listening to her and Harry.
"Darce, whats wrong baby?" Harry asks, crouching down to her level.
"You and Mummy don't love me anymore" she says, letting a few tears escape and roll down her cheeks.
Harry embraces her and holds her close to his chest. "Darcy honey, why would you think that?" He asks as he wipes her tears away.
"Because you love the new baby more than me" she sniffles, walking away from Harry.
He stands up and lifts her into his arms, letting her head rest on his shoulder. He looks her in the eye and starts to whisper.
"Mummy and Daddy love you with all our hearts- both you and the new baby. You're our only daughter and our first child, so that means you're special" he says, making Darcy smile and giggle.
"We don't love you any less; we love you both the same and always will. Never forget that" he says softly.
He kisses her forehead and she wraps her tiny arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.
"I love you Daddy" she says sweetly.
"I love you more" he replies and puts her down, letting her play and finally be happy again.
He creeps out of her room not noticing you were listening in to their conversation. You pull his shirt gently and bring him closer to you.
"Thanks Harry. You definitely win the award for best Father" you smile and kiss him.
