Hunter's POV

I started down at the text message Lisa had sent me not being able to hold in the smile. Jace looked over at me with a raised eyebrow.

"What's with you?" He asked letting out a chuckle as I felt my face turn a slight shade of red.

"Nothing I was just thinking." I lied running my fingers through my hair.

"About all the hotties we're gonna see in binkies this weekend?" He said having his eye light up.

I smirked over at him before nodding my head, I wasn't totally lying to him I was thinking about one certain hottie in a binki but I would never admit to that. Jace was my best friend and I wished I could tell him about Lisa but that would be to big of a risk, Uncle Jack is the only one who should know.

"Where's Jack?" I asked changing the subject lifting my body so I was on longer laying down but sitting.

"He's in the alphas office, why?" He asked moving over so he could sit down at my desk playing with all my random stuff.

"I dunno, I just need to talk to him, I wont be gone long don't play with my stuff while I'm gone." I said in a stern voice before heading out of my room. I hated having people touch my personal stuff.

I quickly walked down the stairs moving out of the way as some kids ran past me. I paused at the alpha's door feeling awkward about entering, "Uncle Jack?" I asked knocking on the door.

"Come on in Hunter." Jack called from inside the room. I walked in with a smile on my face for it only to be replaced with a frown. "Like what I did with the place?" He asked extending his arms around the room with a proud smile on his face. He had removed the messy piles of papers and placed them in a nice neat pile on top of the desk as well as put up some of his personal items. I walked to the desk studying one of the pictures. There were two young boys about the ages of seven and eight both had huge grins on their faces as they held up a fish they had probably caught a few minutes before the picture was taken.

"Is that you and dad?" I asked taking the picture and sitting down at the chair across form the desk.

Jack let out a small chuckle "Yeah, back before he turned into the man he is today. I know you've never seen that side of him Hunter but he wasn't always like he is now, the alpha title changed him. I remember that day clearly our dad, your grandfather, took us out fishing in the little pond out back we were fighting about who got to go first since we only had one fishing rod, dad told us to share by going at the same time, we both held onto the rod we caught that fish together." Jack said smiling at the memory. "But I doubt you came in here to talk about your father, what's up?" He asked smiling back at him.

"Oh I just wanted to come in and tell you that Lisa my mate is coming to the party this Friday." I said smiling back at him.

"Oh really? I finally get to meet your other half. Don't worry I will try and not embarrass you too much." Jack said in a playful voice.

"Good I need to keep my image." I said with a serious face.

"And what image is that?" He asked sounding amused.

"I dunno the bad boy I guess." I said sounding unsure.

"Taking after your uncle Jack are we?" He asked smiling a very fatherly smile.

"I guess, the humans can since my power so they think of me that way." I said standing up and placing the picture back were I found it.

Jack nodded his head. "Before you go Hunter I just want to let you know that I am allowing alcoholic drinks but I don't want any wolves wasted understand?" He asked seeming very serious.
