Hey Everybody!!! This is the shining moment. This is what you've been waiting for. This is IT!
So first you must vote. Otherwise It's not as cool. Or you can vote at the end. But you MUST vote. And comment (if you aren't too choked up, LOL, but that is a hint...) And BTW One of the ideas in here (which isn't fully devolped yet, but it will be) is from NeySheree16. I give full credit of it to her. (I'll tell you what the idea is at the end.) OK, enjoy. Chapter 16-Zach's POV: Emma sat with her arms crossed glaring out into the drizzling rain. It was starting to bother me, her long silence. I had to talk. "Just stick with me, OK?" I said. I was a little worried about how the guys would treat a girl. Hell, I knew how'd they treat her. Not good. "Whatever," she mumbled. Silence again. "Because these guys are cool, but a little immature around girls." She looked a little frustrated, "OK, that's nice." "So you'll watch out for yourself?" I asked, a little relieved. "Dammit yes! Why does no one think I can take care of myself!? I. Am. Seventeen. I've lived all by myself for like six months! I know how to get a credit card, make people respect you, and for sure as hell know how to pick my friends! And I know who's bad and who's not! Jeesh!" she yelled. I fidgeted, "I didn't mean to upset you or anything..." I said, gulping. She sighed. "No it wasn't you. Just an unfinished argument with Josh." Man, that Josh. He knows exactly how to push her buttons huh? Emma's POV: I felt a little bad at snapping at Zach, but so much worse for another thing. For yelling at Josh. I told him to stay away from me, but did I want that? Not really, not at all, actually. I missed Josh ALREADY. Unacceptable, totally and completely wrong Emma! Not only do you HATE HIM (remember that?) but also missing him is a bit too much. How much more before I have to admit I'm cheating on Justin? That sounded so wrong, I never even THOUGHT of doing that just a mere four days ago. FOUR DAYS?!? That's all it's been? And I'm already missing and thinking of another guy more than Justin? Am I some kind of slut? If I kiss someone else. Yeah, I'm not a horrible person or have cheated on someone until I kiss someone. I smiled. I'll never kiss someone, so I'll never cheat. Yes! I felt so much better at once. I was still smiling when we pulled up to the building. "Starbucks?" I asked through my laughter. He grinned, probably in relief at my mood change, "Just you wait." We got out of his shiny corvette and he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the...Starbucks? Um...what happened? Where there should be a coffee counter (I know, I work at a Starbucks!) there was a kitchen table-like thing. It was huge and rectangular with a single chandelier hanging unsteadily above it. There were no other tables in direct sight, but one long narrow hallway towards the table. I chocked down the claustrophobia. Eight doors lined the hallway as we squeezed down the path. "Uh," I said, one shoulder hitting the wall, the other hitting Zach, "Roomy." Zach laughed, "I've never gone down it with two people. I guess we could've went single file." There was no more room to fall behind him, so we were stuck this way. Very smooth. I gasped when I finally realized what was wrong about this Starbucks. There were no windows. None. It looked there were from the outside, but there wasn't. Not a single one. I voiced that to Zach and he shrugged, "We are a SECRET organization." "Ooh, creepy," I sang. We practically fell into the table room. People laughed. I blinked and looked around, the room was actually huge. Balloons, punch table, air hockey, this room had everything. The table was suddenly the small item. And, I sighed with relief, there was an alternative exit. Well, this Starbucks was just full of surprises, huh? (And not to mention three times as big as mine.) Tyler walked over, shaking his head. "Shoulda known the first girl would be you." I punched his arm and laughed. "Hell yeah you should've!" He grinned and I thought, he used to be a creepy pervert, but now he was-what? A friendly pervert? Either way we were kind of friends. Zach looked at me with a question in his eyes. I shrugged and Tyler saw someone else he knew and walked away. "Tyler?" Zach asked. I smirked, "Not my poster child friend, but..." I shrugged. "He's MY poster child friend," Zach muttered darkly. Oh joy.
