My name is Isabelle. I'm 16 and I work as a waitress at a restaurant near the woods called Night. I have black hair and gray eyes my hair is the bouncy kind that if you wrap it around your finger and let it go it would bounce back up and my bangs that come a little below my ear is straight. I was working the late shift tonight I looked up from my homework at the clock on the black wall and it said 12:00 and nobody was here. I looked at Bernie who had brown hair who was in his late twenties and was bulky with his brown eyes and was the owner who kindly let me be an employee 'Hey, Bernie its getting late and nobody is here think I can get off early' I asked while he was cleaning a glass from the bar 'Sick of me already' he said jokingly 'Yes you may leave early Isabelle' 'Thank you Bernie see ya tomorrow' I replied gathering my stuff.
Before I walked out I heard him say 'Goodnight'. Walking into the woods because it was the quickest way to get to my naborhood I wish I had drove my black mustang. As I was walking I herd huffs and then footsteps. I saw a deer pass by me witch was strange but it was dark and I don't have the best night vision I saw something that passed in a blur and was running after the deer. Scared I started running then I heard a loud thump of a body hitting the ground and with that I started to run faster like my life depended on it and it did. I heard whatever was coming for me but it was slower then before but that didn't make me feel safe nor stop me from running up my driveway to my to storie house the same as the other houses and quickly opening my door and slamming it shut and locking it. My heart was racing and yet all I could think was what was that.
