Walking down the off white hallways of my school was hard enough on normal days, when I wasn't caring half a ton of sunscreen and an umbrella. Practically, everyone was looking at me like I was some freak, but I was used to it. It happened on a daily basis anyway.

I stopped when I reached my locker. It was light dark blue, like all the other lockers, the only difference was that mine had a little number twenty seven on it. I twisted my locker, right, then left, then right again, until the lock made a little click noise. I opened my locker to see everything intact, to my surprise. Every one in awhile, it would be filled with some kind of shit. I never really knew who did it, and the school never once did anything about it.

I yanked out my history books, then shut the locker. I proceeded down the hallway, until I reached the history room. I walked into the classroom, and took my normal seat in the front, and plopped my things, then after myself down. I looked around the classroom. All the looks I received were unkind, like I did something to those people, when to be honest, all I did was be me, Camille. But the thing I realized was that in high schools like mine, being yourself doesn't mean your automatically going to fit in.

"Oh look, it's the class heifer!" I heard a familiar voice shriek loud enough for people in Asia to hear. I looked up to see the actual class heifer, Skylar Duvall.

"Wow, it must've taken you all night to come up with that one!" I hissed sarcastically at her. I decided that now I'd just ignore whatever she has to say.

"You know that you should get a life right? Nobody likes you, and nobody would give a fuck if you were dead either." She said with a wicked grin plastered on her face. She flipped her curly blonde hair and stared me down with her blue eyes.

"Weird, I should be saying the same for you. I think that I'm the one with the life, since I don't bother every living thing that breathes. Your a bitch, ask anyone, and they'll tell you the same." I said to her. Nothing she could ever say could ever really hurt me, and I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of knowing she does.

Then the history teacher, Mrs. Burns, walked into the classroom. Everyone hated Mrs.Burns, and she hated everyone else. She's probably the coldest teacher ever, showing no type of care, or interest in her students's well being at all. She had squinty green eyes, and dark brown hair that was starting to grey. That's what working as a teacher gets you, grey hairs and wrinkles when your barely over forty.

"Skylar, I suggest that you sit in your seat before I give you a detention." Mrs. Burns hissed at Skylar. She began to scurry up the ail between the chairs until she sat down in a seat at the back of the classroom.

"Well then, good morning class." She smiled coldly before sitting down at her desk. Her eyes darted across the room finally resting back at her papers. The door to the classroom opened up, and in entered The school administrator, Mr. Hughes. A thin man with a hair full of dark brown hair and a mustache to match. Standing next to him was a boy. Let me tell you, he was gorgeous.

"Hello, Mrs. Burns, I hope I'm not disturbing anything." He gleefully said to the constantly pissed off teacher. My gaze went off to tis guy, and I gently pushed my glasses up with my index finger, so I could see him better. He had light brown hair with eyes to match. He looked like a really gentle, normal guy. I'm pretty sure he caught me gawking, and a little grin stuck on his face.

"Of course not, Mr.Hughes. I see you have the new student!" she said it like she was actually happy about it. "Class, this is Jacob Matthews, and he is our new student. Be sure to make him feel at home."

Mr.Hughes's view shifted towards me. "Oh, Camille, I wanted you to be a counselor, or mentor to Jacob for the next week or so, to get him fitted in."

That was probably the dumbest thing that man could of done. I mean sure, this guy was cute, but look at me. A frumpy red head who is labeled socially unaccepted. Kill me, just kill me now.
