Gazing at the ceiling above me, I threw my fists into the wall, easily making a hole, that outlook the backyard. This was normal for me to do, cause one I was a teenager, and two my parents knew I could get stressed easily, but today it was none of the above. I was literally swooning over Nick Ploys, and I was rather picky about what to wear to school. Everything else was not a problem, except for the butterflies trying to eat my stomach alive. Without even looking up, I knew mom was watching as she worried over what was happening, but still she knew not to irk me when I was in my moods. But oddly I wasn’t in a bad mood, but in a mood that was never felt before. It felt nice, but strange, as I gripped my stomach. Mom soon rushed over, a smile on her face, along with anger. “How long?” She questioned, leaving me confused. What did she mean how long? Wait, wait, wait I got it now. I was bloating and it looked as if I was pregnant, I looked up towards her and guffawed in laughter.
“Must be two months, tsk tsk, these mood swings” however this made me fall to the floor, as I banged my fists again the floor, struggling for precise air. My laughing immediately revived me from the butterflies, and I managed to get air. Now standing I looked at my mom with a smirk planted on my face “Mom, I am not pregnant, I’m just, ugh, imjustnervousoveraboy.” I mumbled embarrassed. Her smile scowl soon faded, and with a second to spare she tackled me, pinning me to the floor. “Tell me his name.” mom’s voice was coated with poison, and I knew that I had to tell her everything. Squirming under her grasp, I blurted his name out. “Nick Ploys” Mom looked satisfied, and then curious. Note to self; don’t ask her about my love life. “What does he look like?” her voice was sweeter this time, but still she was right to the point. Sighing I answered, “Black hair, spiky, muscular, vibrant green eyes, abs, and is captain for basketball and football.” Mom squealed while she clapped her hands merrily. “I know the outfit” and before I could say no, she was holding a black tang top, and a pair of white shorts.
I thanked her before changing into my clothes, eyeing the tang top that lay slightly above my belly button. Way to go mom. Gracious fully, I was about to grab my book bag, when my alarm went off. Dropping the bag, I threw on my mask, and stared at my watch ticked off. Ironfist was back. Jumping out of my window, I made it too Banker’s run, in five minutes, and hovered twenty feet above the ground. Nobody was here. Looking down I saw that I forgot my costume, and gasped in shock. I was vulnerable now, easy to take down, easy to distract Ironfist. Smiling, I screamed as I pretended to fall to earths ground and fall to a regular person’s death. Before my head can crack, two warming arms grabbed me, and cradled me in his arms, before throwing me to the nearest building. Ironfist was here, and ready to cause a whole lot of mayhem.
Before smashing head-on to the building, I dove down spiraling in every direction, until I stopped twenty feet from the ground, hovering as I stared at where I would have died. I was amazed at how well my flying skills went, and before I knew it, a fist collided to my stomach, making me double over in pain, and started to fall foot first. My hair was spinning as pieces got stuck in my mouth. Before the collision was made, arms wrapped around me, and gently brought me down to earth. I looked up to see, no other than Ironfist, and I stared at his eyes. They were ocean blue with a grey sparkle; they were beautiful but instantly reminded me of someone. I opened my mouth, and finally asked “Why?” Ironfist thought for a while and then a smirk came to his face. “Us villain’s doesn’t mean we can’t help.” And before I could say thank you, he was already flying off. That was well strange, and before anyone can see, I threw off my mask, and stuffed it in my pocket, basketball here I come!
The walk to the basketball arena was only around five minutes, and as I walked all the guys from my grade, was smirking towards me, something with lust and confusion. Instead of glaring at them and saying some nasty things, I just ignored them and found Nick smiling at me. “Hey.” His voice was full of joy yet some shyness. Why is he shy about girls? Looking up at him I saw his amazing eyes, they seemed like they were ocean blue with a grey sparkle. Interesting, I saw somebody with the same exact eyes. When I looked at him, he was shocked at he was staring down at my outfit. Now I was beyond confused, and I didn’t want any more attention to myself. Eagerly I grabbed the ball from his hand, and started dribbling towards the net, laughing happily. Nick was right behind me laughing, but then picked something up, looking like he solved a complicated puzzle, eh probably his money. Before I scored, Nick picked me up and pulled me on his back, as I was punching him in anger. “Let me down Nick! Please let me down!” Slowly Nick put me down, but his face was stressed and perfect hair was messed up. “Spence, I’m having a family emergency, I’m so sorry, here’s money for a taxi.” His voice was barely a whisper, and then I slowly wrapped my hands around his waist. “It’s alright, I’m so sorry.” Before I could refuse I kissed hi gently on the lips.
