Chapter-6
I came back home and saw a letter on the kitchen table.Mom had given me some work to do. I thought
There was a list of chores I had to do.
After 1 hour
The phone started ringing so i picked my baby sis and went down to receive the phone.
"Hello Eli !!".Hailey said crying.
"Hail whats wrong??". I said
"ELI!! Its Kevin he got into an accident a-and he is in coma". Hailey said
I couldnt hear anymore or listen the phone feel from my hand. I could hear Hailey screaming in the phone but I was too numb to speak or say something.
When I remembered his words" Tell someone and that person dies".I shuddered thinking of him and what he had done to Kevin. Tears spilled from my eyes. Soon the door opened Mom and dad came in.
"Shh i heard honey everything is going to be alright". Mom said
"I am going to the hospital mom !!".I said in a shaky voice and went out grabbing my jacket .
"I went to the hospital and and saw Kevin attached to all the wires.It brought tears to my eyes seeing him like this." I just knew who was behind it and I had con sequences if I told anyone.
