Dylan's P.O.V.

I could hear the argument going on from 3 roads away and I pick up my speed. That's all I’d been doing for the last 4 days, pacing the streets, hoping that she'd come back to this area. She hasn't. I don't really have another plan considering there's no trail and Dan has no more information. I have no where to go from here.

I turn the corner to find the Alpha Clayton's son; I think his name is Drake, hoisting some guy into the air, two shocked pack members and a police officer.

"That wasn’t the answer I want, fancy trying it again?" Drake shouts at the guy, I can't help but wonder what the question was because Drake is taking it very seriously. I continue to advance towards them slowly and so far unnoticed while he has an argument with one of his guys. Wow, he is one spoilt little Alpha, you wouldn't catch Dan behaving like this. He drops the guy, who immediately starts spluttering for air, and walks off. I watch the guy on the floor, there is only one reason for Drake to be here and that's Isabelle, so this guy must be some connection, I see him attempt to speak but he can't get enough air to make it possible. It's probably best right now if he doesn't say anything else anyway. Just as I think it he takes a shaky breath and tries again.

"I... I was her boy... boyfriend and she told me... to throw... her things away." The guy should have taken my advice and shut up because now I just want to kill him, so this is the guy from the bar, the guy who tempted her out of uni and the guy she's been sharing a room with. I can feel the anger bubbling inside of me and I step back, tacking deep breaths, one... two... three... whose idea was this because it doesn't work... four... five... six... actually I do feel better but by the time I reach ten I’ve now missed half of the conversation.

"Well when I got home, the door was in pieces, my mirror was smashed and my clothes were shredded, she wouldn't have done that." I hear the guy on the floor say and I smile to myself. He deserved everything he got and a lot more he didn't. I take this as my opportunity to make my presence known, if they were real wolves they would have figured out that I was there a while ago, but they are just teens. Teens that have never seen a battlefield no doubt.

"No, but I would." I state, menace lacing my words. The looks on everyone's faces are priceless and it's all I can do not to smile in victory. Drake displays his confusion and then annoyance, whilst his pack members are straight on the defence, the smartest thing they have done all day I bet. The guy on the floor looks like he's about to say something and then fear takes hold when his gaze meets mine. The policeman just looks rather serious, but what do I care; he can't do anything to me.

It takes us a good half hour to ditch the humans and I may or may not, depending on who's asking, have hit this so called 'boyfriend' of Isabelle's and he's lucky I did just punch him. We arranged to meet at a clearing a little way into the woods and we were to arrive separately, his little pack and then me, because neither of us trusts the other and we made that quite clear. I sat on a fallen tree, my back to the woods so I could face all three of them. Drake was the first to speak:

"What the hell are you doing down here?" He asks.

"I could ask you the same thing. But what's the point. Like you I’m looking for Isabelle." His eyes grow darker, I can tell this isn't the answer he expected and nor is it an answer he wanted.

"And why would you be doing that?" He growls. Surely he's taking the mick, isn't it obvious why I’m looking for her?

"Because she is missing and I’m her mate." I reply, saying it slowly as if talking to a child. His jaw drops and he turns to consult his companions, whose faces mirror his own.
