The Stone Triangle

 Prologue

  Let the veil of night take hold,

all of which is new and old,

then protect all that we own,

us the triangle made of stone

This was read out at the end of every stone triangle ceremony. As the members departed, the rhyme would stay in their heads. The poem was 100s of years old. Its meaning was unclear, it had nothing to do with the cause whatsoever.

2008, 4th January.

 It was Amelia's birthday, Amelia, the leader of our clan of friends. "I dont want to just sit here talking about nonsense on a day like this, today calls for something special!" Rhianna stood up and walked over to Amelia, "Like what, we're at school for goodness sake, where could we possibly go?" Angelica laughed, "Down there, down the steps, I mean you've all heard the rumours, its haunted right? well, I want to see if thats true." Kate was the first to object, "No, that place is restricted. I'm not going, besides, what if it is haunted, I dont want to see any ghosts. What if I get possessed or something?" Amelia's smile was wiped clean away. "Your the one who constantly watches horror movies. So, you'll scare yourself then but you wont scare yourself for the sake of my birthday?"

Amelia had a way of forcing you into things. Everyone came quietly, including Kate who was still very annoyed about the horror movie incident. Down the steps was a ring of candles and and large rock which had a triangle in a circle carved onto it. The candles had smoke slowly rising from their wicks, the candles had been used recently. It began to pour with rain. Rhianna stood up, "we should go, we're gonna' get soaked." Amelia stayed sitting, "No, who cares about the rain?" the rain got thicker and thicker until it was impossible to see anything.

When the rain finally cleared up, the girls looked around and Amelia was gone. Flora laughed, "Another one of her practical jokes." They searched for ages, no one was there. They looked at the ground below their feet and were horrified to see the triangle carved into it was filled with blood.
