Ever wondered who the awesome author of ‘Being a Rockstar Sucks’ is? Or just wanted to know how she writes her stories? It’s redzebra, and this is my interview with her. All of her stories are popular, but ‘Being a Rockstar Sucks’ is defiantly, by far, the most popular. For those of you who haven’t read it, here is the description:

Jace is the lead singer to Silver Snakebites and he hates it. He used to love it, until girls began loving their looks and not their music. One night in a concert at Las Vegas he meets Serenity, a girl who treats him like crap and he loves it. Serenity is a junior at highschool and loves screamo. She ends up being dragged to a soft rock concert by her best friend Lizzie, who is obsessed with Silver Snakebites. Unfortunately Serenity ends up meeting Jace and now he wont leave her alone…

Q. How do you come up with the plot for a story? Do you plan or make it up as you go along?

A. It depends... On some stories I just randomly get an idea and then I plan how I want the story to turn out; my Fatal Attractions is one of them. In others I know what I want it to be about, and I build the plot as I go, my Rockstar story is one of them.

Q. How do you decide on a story name?

A. I think of what the story is about and then think of a title that represents the story. I try not to make the title long.

Q. How many drafts of a chapter do you write before posting?

A. I write one and then send it to my editor, DiNozo, to see what he thinks.

Q. Do you base your characters on friends, celebrities or just make them up?

A. Some are based on friends, like Sorense from Criminals Can Love. Others I make up, most end up having my personality though :(

Q. What made you want to write in the first place?

A. Well, in my head I just kind of make up my own stories and I just transfer that to paper. I know I'm weird. I have been writing since I was 14 and once I found Wattpad, I decided to upload those and write even more.

Q. How do you get over writers block?

A. I hardly ever get writer's block; though right now I have writer's block with my Trainer story. When I get writer's block, I usually when I add twists to the story to get over it. Or I listen to music and that helps me get ideas.
