There was a girl
A very strange, yet beautiful girl
She was not like any other
She lived in our world, but her mind was far, far away
In her own secret abode
A place where magic was real
A world where she was a magnificent princess
Where her prince charming would find her
Sweep her off her feet, and carry her away
Everyone would laugh at her, which was unfair
But she kept waiting for him, still believing
Then one day, he found her crying her heart out
He wiped the tears away, and kissed her softly
Her prince had finally come to save her
She felt as if she had been struck by lightning
Her whole life had changed
He made her smile, he made her laugh
Her future was as bright as the sun
Then, the dark clouds started to roll in
Her world started to whirl in all direction
Everything that happened was a lie, a trick
She had been deceived by her love, her prince
Then she realized the ugly truth
Because in reality there is no prince charming
No one can be a princess
There is no room for fairy tales
