Chapter Two.

Vince.---


We slipped in through the back door of George's hotel door. Tania looked over a bookshelf, and smiled menacingly. Her gaze never left the poor man, as she motioned for us with her finger. I crept forward, into the room and behind him, with out a sound, or being noticed. Chase did the same, followed by Zaria. She had a bruise on her face, and it pissed me off. I was starting to like her. Damn Samuel.
Then, Tania leaped forward standing in front of him. "Hello again, George." Her eyes twinkled when she said this. "Sorry to bother you, again, but it must be done." She smiled like she cared, and nodded her head at us. Chase was suddenly next to him, on the couch. George jumped, and we he sat back down he was incredibly. Chase laughed at this.
It bothered me how they played with our victims. Zaria didn't, and I just wasn't used to this whole thing.
"Now, lovey, it's time."Tania interrupted Chase's taunting with George. She was suddenly behind him, and I moved to the opposite side of Chase. Zaria obviously didn't want to be facing him, but she floated over to that spot. And then it happened.
Tania started, with the chant we always began with. "Început de sărbătoare!" She chanted, meaning "Start the Feast", in Romanian. A blue light surrounded us, followed with a deep orange glow. Then we sucked out this guy's soul.
It was like a second nature now (disturbing, i know); i just told my body to do it, and it did. It was like a magnet. His soul separated into four blue wisps, and traveled into us. Suddenly, I felt refreshed; renewed. I was stronger, and i felt...amazing. It was hard not to like sucking out someone's soul.
His body was drained, lifeless. Chase smiled, content, and burped. We all were pretty content too. I laughed.
Zaria broke us out of our trance. "We better go. People will be here soon." We all walked to the window, and floated out.

20 minutes later we were picking Chrissy, Heath, Raven and Cole up from their job. Tania and Chase were up front; the rest of us were sitting in the back. Raven and Cole were sitting on one bench, Zaria and I were on the opposite side bench. Chrissy and Heath had their backs against the back doors, and were making out. It was grossing me out.
Zaria laughed when she noticed my unease. "Get used to it; they do that a lot." I chuckled, and looked at her. She was sucking on a pendant necklace she had on, and was wearing a ratty sweatshirt, and short jean shorts. I looked over at Raven and Cole. They were a couple, but acted pretty..odd. I didn't how to explain it but it was weird. Zaria noticed me wondering, yet again, and her smile wiped away. She leaned over and whispered in my ear, "I'll tell you later." Hmm. Suspicious. I was staring to get really curious, since now i knew there was a story behind their weirdness.
Zaria swung into my lap, when the car swerved around to get in the driveway. "Um, oops, uh, sorry." She mumbled, quickly going over to the other side of the bench.
Dammit, Vince! Why didn't you say something extremely genius, and charming? Girr.

Zaria.---
The van made me slid into Vince. OH, shit. Say something sexy,Zaria! "Um, oops, uh, sorry..."
Well. That was GENIUS.
I sighed. I was really starting to like Vince, and i didn't know how to say it. Everyone else here had been couples for years, and i had been the odd one out. Now, finally some one else was here, and i couldn't think of what to do!
The van doors slid open then, and Chrissy and Heath almost fell out. We all laughed. I strode into the house, when Samuel pulled me aside. I saw Vince tense up, and walk s l o w l y by. I tried not to smile.
"How'd it go THIS time, Zaria?"
"Fine." I mumbled.
"Huh?"
"Fine. Good.Great." I said, louder this time. He just rolled his eyes and walked away.
The moment after he stepped away, Vince rushed to my side. I tried to hide my joy.
He looked like he didn't know what to say. "Um...Oh! Ya." He lowered his voice. "What s wrong with, uh..." He nodded towards Raven and Cole. Cole was laying with Raven on the couch, playing with her hair.
I sighed. "Oh, ya...Um. Follow me." I grabbed his hand, and led him towards my room. And started the tale.
