Chapter 3





I woke up and took a long shower. I know, I know---I need to stop stalling. I put on a denim mini skirt and black boots that went up to the top of my knees and a red shirt that read "I love Nerds" in big black letters. I went to the kitchen and ate Frosted Flakes cereal and went to my car. It was the slowest ride I have ever taken. I was going so slow that I swear, little old ladies were flipping me off on the road. Geez, where are their manners? Once I was at Rayne's house I got out of the car and went straight to the front door. I knocked on the door quickly before I lost my courage. I haven't seen Rayne since I had read the letter he had given me. I wanted to avoid any awkward moments between him and I. I don't even know if I feel the same way or not. Finally someone opened the door. It was Rayne. It seemed weird to me since Natasha was the one who always answered the door before. He grinned at me. "I knew you couldn't resist this hot thing." He said, pointing at himself. I snorted. "Right." I said, sarcastically. I sighed in relief. No awkward moments so far.
