I like to write poetry and this is my very first piece, plz comment i would greatly appreciate it! :)


I hate Valentines,
No one pays me any mind,
Eating cupids chocolate potion,
Hopefully I'll get a notion,
Of what I want this time.

I see this boy sit next to me,
He's 5 foot 8 with a cute face,
Could this be the one for me?
With shiny black hair and sparking blue eyes,
He just catches me by surprise!

He says hi and we conversate,
Then he says "do you have a mate?"
As both of our hands intertwine,
I've just found my new Valentine.
