She loved him,
He loved her,
Simply boy likes girl.
But that's not exactly true.
After the "I love you"s and "I'll be there...no matter what"s,
There was a new girl to school,
Such an enchantress was she!
She clouded his eyes,
replaced them with glass beholding her image...
And so his eyes could never see his first love again,
too blinded by the false gold found.
But the girl knew,
the girl saw,
her closed eyes were the most clear of all
But the girl heard,
the girl knew,
her shut ears heard the most of all.
But the girl never spoke,
her music and tears always speaking for her.
So even while his eyes were glass,
and hers were shut,
she held on.
Her faith wasn't broken...
Not yet.
So now all she could do was sit and wait for the girl's spell to be broken.
So she sits ever silent...
Invisible once more.
