Chapter 2.
Still Noelle's P.O.V.

"Oh my God! I hate packing!" I said, clearly irritated. It was Sunday and Eve and Ali were over. Eve had made herself comfortable on my king sized bed, (she had all her packing done since Thursday, the bitch) while Ali was going through my clothes.
"You should have packed on Thursday," Eve said.
"Yeah, well, I only found out I was going Thursday evening thanks very much!" I said.
"Ugh, why can't I have your clothes?!" Ali sighed, looking through my massive collection. My mum had an obsession with buying me clothes. Some girls would kill to have a mum like mine, but personally I find her obsession annoying. I like cool, funky, thrifty clothes. Not my mum's style which was a hell of a lot of high street stuff. I rolled my eyes.
"Could you just help me pack and stop moaning?!" I asked, getting more and more irritated by the second.
"Fine, fine. Jeez what's up with you? You sound like something's eating your ass," she said, laughing silently to herself at her little joke. Eating my ass? Funny, very funny. I sighed. The heat in this room was getting to me too.
"Can we open a window?" I asked.
"All of them are open," Eve replied.
"Jesus!" I swore, flopping down on the floor. Fuck it. I was tired, this room was like a freaking oven, I only had half my packing done and I'd had a fight with Jason (surprise, surprise) on Friday. My life was fantastic, note the sarcasm dripping from every letter in that sentence.
"What's up with you? I know you hate packing and heat but is there something else?" Ali asked, looking away from my wardrobe.
"If you must know, I had a fight with the boy I'm supposed to like but don't on Friday," I sighed, lying back on the cool floor.
"Jeez El, you're still with him?!" Eve said.
"He wants the relationship to continue and I don't. But I'm too fucking kind to let him down the hard way. God, I hate myself," I groaned, slapping my hands over my eyes.
"Tell him he's an ignorant ass. That'll shake him," Ali said.
"That's what you say to every single guy you go out with and they're all dipsticks. Jason is a few brain cells higher," I said.
"Obviously not when he knows that you know that he's cheating on you," Ali replied.
"Excuse me?" I said.
"Ugh, this heat is getting to you. Maybe you should just cheat on him back," Eve said.
"No way. I made a big rule to myself this summer," I said.
"What was that? Live in a hole and not talk to any guys this summer?" Eve laughed. I threw the closest object at hand (which was a Green Peace t-shirt) at her to silence her. It landed on her face. Ha.
