~Summer's Not Hot Without You~

I felt my bed shift , then I heard my name being called I groaned and opened my eyes and saw Chase. "Urgg Chase go away. What time is it?" I asked groggingly

"Well sleepyhead it's 10 am. Why are you so sleepy? What did you do yesterday without us?" Chase asked

I got up since he wouldn't stop pestering me with questions. I went to the bathroom and did my normal bathroom routine. I put a cute white tank top and floral skirt on with some brown gladiator wedges.

"So what are we doing today?" I asked Chase while walking to my bed to sit.

"You know you ignored my question earlier." He said I knew exactly what he was talking about but I was acting dumb. "What question?"  I said. "Don't play dumb with me and lie to my face," He said sternly. Chase can read right through me and knows when I'm lying. I told him about last night and how I almost drown and died and about Matt.

"Woa Kayl! I think I should be with you at all times." He said that in a serious but jokingly tone.

"No you won't because if you do I'll order a restraining on you and you can't come 1000 feet near me." I joked.

"Well if you do that I wouldn't be able to do this." He said while pushing me down on my back and he hovered over me. I felt myself blushing as he was on top of me. He got closer to me and I thought he was going to kiss me then Chase started laughing and got off of me. "Wow, you should've seen your face that was priceless. You actually think I was going to kiss you?" He said and laughed

"Well I don't know what to think when a guy is 3 inches away from my face." I said annoyingly

"Aww Kayl don't be like that." 

"What brought you here to annoy me?" I asked looking at him in straight into his mezmorizing blue eyes. I didn't realize how blue and mesmorizing his eyes were. He started to talk and it snapped me out of my trance.

"Oh right um Mandy,Zack, and I are going to a party. Lizzy doesn't like parties so she's not going."

"Yay! Party!!" I said excitingly

"Oh and Mandy wants to go shopping at the mall and is picking you up..." He took his phone out and looked at his time and had a surprise look on his face and finished his sentence with "right now." 

"What! Your lucky I'm at least dressed." I said and slapped his shoulder because now I had to hurry up and get ready. I swiped some mascara on and some lipgloss and I grabbed my purse and made sure I had some money in it. Luckily I did and didn't have to ask my parents for some. The door bell ran and I went downstairs to get it with Chase following behind me.

"You ready!?" Mandy asked escaticly

"I would've been even more ready if Chase hadn't told me 30 seconds ago." I said accusingly

Mandy shot Chase a look and said "Urg I should've just called you." Mandy couldn't text and probably told Chase when Mandy was over at Zack's.

"It's ok I'm ready now so lets go." I reassured her

We walked out and I waved bye to Chase. Shopping with Mandy was going to be interesting.

3 hours later....

"Is this good?" Mandy asked me for the billionth time but on a different dress

"Yes, I don't get why you didn't get that dark purple one it was cute." I told her

"That made me look like a nun."

"I'm pretty sure nuns don't go to parties and it was 2 inches from your knees. Do you want to look like a slut?" 

"No but I just didn't like it." 

"Fine." I said and sighed out of fustration. We have been looking for three hours to find her a dress and she didn't like anything. She is really picky. I already found my outfit. I found a purple sequin shirt and I was going to pair it with dark denim shorts and silver pumps. It was casual yet dressy. Mandy wanted to be extra dressy and wanted to stand out so that's why we've been here for three hours. While I was waiting for her to pick something out in this boutique I was browsing through the racks. I found this cute dress that I might wear instead of that purple sequin top. I held the dress against me and I heard a huge gasp. I turned to my side and Mandy's mouth was open wide. She held out her arms and pointed to it saying "T-t-that's the perfect dress" She whisper since she was shocked to see that dress. " I want it!!" She yelled said. I was so happy we finally found her a dress. She tried it on and I gasp myself. "That looks perfect on you! With some cute black pumps and some accesories you will look hot!" I squealed in excitement. Mandy was happy and satisfied after she bought the dress and shoes. We went to my house to get ready since the guys were going to pick us up. Mandy curled my hair and reminded her not to burn me again. Yes she burned me a couple of times before with a curling iron. Then I curled her hair and hairsprayed hers and mine. Then we did our own makeup. I applied some makeup and got dressed. I put on my pumps and they were surprisingly really comfy so I shouldn't have any problem with my feet hurting. Mandy got dressed to and we took some pictures. We had five minutes before the guys picked us up.
