Those hands still bound my sight as I struggled to release them. My mind travelled to all the different actions I could perform in this situation. The first was to call for help. The second was to scream. The third was to run, or at least attempt to. I could always try to punch him, but he's behind me. Different thoughts went through my mind, like a brainstorm in a minute. His hands still were not loosening up, so I did the first thing my instincts told me to. I kicked up my foot backwards, hitting him right between the legs with my gorgeous red pumps. That is bound to hurt.
"Ughh!" he agonized, as his hands left my face to, what I imagine, clutch his groin. I immediately swirled around to confront my opponent, taking a step back to whoever was kneeling on the ground. With the dark lights and the amount of dancers, it was hard to make out the person. I saw movement, and then a strobe of blue light illuminated his face, revealing his identity. "Cam?!" I yelled. Thank god the music was loud enough to override most of it. He glared at me with his icy blue eyes and let out a ragged breath. "Did you really have to do that?" He asked. "Well, did you really have to do that?" I questioned back. "I was only playing around. I wasn't actually planning on taking you anywhere." By now, one of the guys noticed and came bounding over. It was none other than Christopher. He roughly grabbed my shoulder and spun me around. "Hey are you alright?" He gave his own icy blue eyed glare back at Cam before dragging me off to the table, where Lance was half-asleep on the table. "He's drunk, should we get going?" Chris asked, looking around for the others at the same time. I felt a body pass by me, setting itself down on the chair opposite of Lance. I stared at Cam for a short while before giving him a smile. As he had walked passed, he bent down and whispered 'sorry' in my ear. I looked back to Christopher, who was now gesturing to Nate and Melanie on the edge of the dance floor to come over. They took their time, swinging each others' hands and dancing their way over to us. I looked around at the faces of the table as they came over to us. Lance didn't seem to have noticed anything, what with his eyes shut, but Cam was looking at them with the cheekiest grin. I glanced at Christopher, who motioned for me to move closer. "I'm going to go find the other two. Stay here alright?" He yelled, and then he was weaving through the crowds with the expertise of a regular partygoer. When Nate and Melanie finally reached us, I couldn't help but grin and squeal like the girly girl that I am. "YAYYYY!" I cheered, sweeping my arms out and grabbing them both into a hug. "Yayyyyyyyyy!" Lance joined in half drunk, his voice wavering as he got up from the table and grabbed us all into a massive bear hug. I was already releasing my hold but Lance's grip was still secure. "Lance, you can let go now." I told him. "Yayyyyyyyyyy!" He started cheering again, making Melanie get into a fit of giggles. "Oh, shut up you drunk ass." Nate insulted in a joking tone, lightly pushing Lance away and breaking the hug. Lance just grinned up at Nate and pranced - yes he pranced - back to his seat, where he slumped back down into his drunken half-asleep mode. I gave out my own laugh and turned towards the new couple. "So, you're together now right?" "Yup!" Melanie chirped. I looked over to her, then looked up to Nate. "Is she tipsy?" "A little. She had a little bit of alcohol earlier, before we started dancing." Melanie let out another row of her giggles, almost causing her to collapse onto the ground if it wasn't for Nate's arm which was firmly around her waist. He led her over to the table, where he sat her down in a chair and kept his arms loosely slung around her neck. Nate peered up at me and gave me a bashful, triumphant smile. Then mouthed back the words 'your turn'. I bit my bottom lip but smiled at him, shaking my head to signify that I didn't plan on doing anything tonight. Just then Christopher returned, holding Anabelle's hand as he led her back to our table with Jace close behind. "Everyone's here. Time to get going?" He nudged his head to the right towards Lance, "This one's a little drunk right now." "And Mel's a lil tipsy." I added. Anabelle put her hand up, like a student in a classroom. "Meee toooo," She slurred and went over to the table. But instead of sitting on the chair, she decided to use the chair to get onto the table to lie down.
