Ralph and Spouse

As his wife stands before him in the middle of their front path, Ralph thinks frantically for a way to tell her what he has done. How can he explain...what words could possibly be used to recount his terrible deed? He raises his eyes to her face, sees that she is crying.

His wife begins to scream, and Ralph feels a weight lifted from his shoulders. Like all those who have shared a secret, he is at peace.
