I would never tell her this, but I was kind of glad that Reed hated my motorcycle. No, it wasn't because I enjoyed freaking her out, though that could be entertaining. It was because when she was scared, Reed would hold onto me tighter, and she'd pull herself closer to me.

Reed was doing just that as I turned into the school parking lot. I parked in my usual spot on the outer edge of the parking lot, and then I turned around to help Reed off of the back of my motorcycle.

"You know," Reed said as she yanked off my helmet, "You could always sell Betty and get a nice, safe car."

I laughed and gestured towards my leather jacket, which she was wearing. "And you could give me back my jacket," I replied, raising an eyebrow, "but we both know neither of those things are going to happen."

Reed stuck her tongue out at me, and her nose crinkled in that cute way that I loved. She shook out her copper hair, which set her apart from so many people, and I wrapped my arm around her shoulders after climbing off of my bike.

As we walked towards the school, I glanced over at Reed and asked, "Would you be willing to go off campus for lunch today?"

"That depends," she replied, looking up at me with her intense blue eyes.

"On what?" I asked, and Reed grinned.

"On if you intend to keep me out even after lunch is over," Reed finished, and I sighed. The girl knew me creepily well.

"I can't share my evil plan with you," I said simply, and Reed raised her eyebrows. "It doesn't matter what you say, though, because I'm kidnapping you," I stated, and Reed snorted.

"Oh, I feel so threatened," she replied with a laugh. "I'm quaking in my flip flops." I rolled my eyes and leaned over, and I planted a kiss on Reed's temple.

Finally, when I hugged and kissed Reed, it was real to both of us. We were together, and I mean really together, and I was ecstatic. Reed was the first girl I'd ever fallen in love with, and the fact that she loved me back was a huge relief.

The light atmosphere around Reed and I was quickly shattered as Triss appeared in front of us. Looking from her to Reed, I had no idea why I'd been with her, other than the fact that she put out, and I had been quite the man-whore before falling for Reed.

"You two look pretty buddy-buddy for having a huge fight at Ben Collins's party," Triss commented, pursing her lips and crossing her arms over her overly-exposed chest.

"Seriously, Triss?" Reed asked, ducking out from underneath my arm. She took a step closer to Triss and put her hands on her hips. "It's old news. You lost your chance to bitch about it."

"I haven't seen you," Triss replied, narrowing her black-rimmed eyes, "Otherwise, I would have confronted you."

"I find it pathetic that you plan your days around me," Reed stated, reaching back towards me. Without hesitation, I slipped my hand in hers, and Reed started to pull me towards the school and away from Triss.

"At least he never cheated on me!"

Reed stopped in her tracks, and she glanced over at me before turning to face Triss. We both knew that Triss was referring to the fact that I'd been alone in a laundry room with a half-naked drunk girl. Reed and I hadn't talked about that yet, and it was obvious that the situation was still a raw subject for Reed. I couldn't blame her for that.
