It was the guy from the beach!!! Henry. He didn't look shocked. He looked......mad. "What do you want?" "Well I wanted to say hi. I heard that you were new here." "Well I have friends that did the welcoming thing so you can just leave." "Wait but you're-" "Yeah Boston I'm Henry. Now that we've got that covered you can leave." "Wait. Why are you being like this?" "Because I didn't realize I was talking to a shallow bitch." "Is that what you think of me?" "Yes." "Well then you don't know me very well." "Yeah well I know your friends. I met one of them this morning." "Victoria." "Yep." "She's not my friend." "Then why were you hanging out with her all day? Hmm? Just to have a better reputation?" "No! I just....just...." "That's what I thought. Bye now." He turned and walked away. I was heartbroken. I really liked this guy and he just told me to get lost. Maybe there is something to what he said though. If I'm not friends with Victoria and her posse, why do I hang out with them? *Henry's POV* I saw her this morning in the parking lot and I was surprised! And excited. I really liked her. I didn't have enough courage to talk to her right now but I will sometime through the day. I was walking through the hall when this annoying girl came up to me. She looked like the definition of a bitch. "Hi I'm Victoria." She smiled wickedly. Creepy. "Hello." I was trying to walk around her, but she was making that hard. "So you're new?" Duh. "Uh...yeah." "Well I'm one of the more popular girls at the school so if you need any help don't hesitate to ask." And she kind of caressed my chest. Ew!! I find that really creepy. "Um...Thanks." And I kind of ran off. I saw Boston at her locker. I was going to go talk to her but I got scared but as I was shoved into her by some jock as I passed. I just ran away. Damn I'm stupid. ----Lunch---- I made some friends that were pretty cool. I mean they weren't cool to other people but that's why I liked hanging out with them. They don't care what people think. We walked into the cafeteria and I spotted Boston almost instantly. She was talking with a group of people. Oh no. She was talking with that Victoria girl and these other girls that look just as bad as her. Damn. ----After School---- I was talking to some people I met today. When I felt a tap on my shoulder. She looked shocked to see me, but I just kept a blank expression. I don't want to talk to her. She's one of them. "What do you want?" I asked coldly. "Well I wanted to say hi. I heard that you were new here." "Well I have friends that did the welcoming thing so you can just leave." I kind of felt bad talking to her like that, but I didn't want to be involved with a girl like her. "Wait but you're-" "Yeah Boston I'm Henry. Now that we've got that covered you can leave." "Wait. Why are you being like this?" "Because I didn't realize I was talking to a shallow bitch." I think that was a little much, but I stood my ground. "Is that what you think of me?" "Yes." I replied coldly. "Well then you don't know me very well." "Yeah well I know your friends. I met one of them this morning." "Victoria." She said like she already knew. "Yep." "She's not my friend." "Then why were you hanging out with her all day? Hmm? Just to have a better reputation?" I had a good point. "No! I just....just...." "That's what I thought. Bye now." And I walked away. Maybe she's not like that but the people she hangs out with sure are and I don't like people who pick on someone just because they're a little different. My sister. She was picked on so much by the 'popular' girls at her school that every day she would come home and cry, until finally my mom just took her out of school. I was part of the 'cool crowd' at my old school and I saw them crush a lot of spirits and I finally couldn't take it, so I stood up for a guy that was getting bullied and then I was exiled for it. That's when we moved. Because my sister left school and people were picking on me too now. Who knew people could be so cruel. That's why at this school I saved myself the trouble and became friends with the 'lower class' kids before I had a chance to be 'exiled' from the popular kids, because I wouldn't stop sticking up for kids just to save my reputation. That just sounds ridiculous to me. *Boston's POV* I went home and told my mom about everything. She listened intently. "Well it seems to me that this boy has had some trouble in the past. Maybe if you really think it's worth it, try and prove that you aren't like the stereotypes. Wait a minute if he doesn't like stereotypes then why did he think you were a mean?" My mom makes a good point! He doesn't like stereotypes but that's what he did to me!
