Chapter 4
"Jerome its me your mother". Tonia said
"Mom, why are you calling me with a blocked number?" he asked.
"I.....i got a call from a man, he said he had cindy. I did not believe him until he made her scream."
"What, where is she mom? What did the guy say?"
"He said if I wanted to see my future daughter in law alive again, i needed to call you and tell you this very important message."
"Whats the message, tell me where the asshole is at!, im going to kill the sonofabitch".
"Honey dont get mad, it will all get straightened out. He said he wants his money by sunday at 3 am."
"Mom where am i going to come up with that much money?"
"dont worry honey, i called your dad up, he wanted to come back home right away but i told him we could not afford to get him fired right now."
Jeromes dad drove a truck for a moving company, not the best job in the world, but you got to see the world, and the pay was not bad. He was currently taking a trailer down to florida.
"No mom this is my mess, i dont want you or dad to get into it, if only i would have listened to cindy and left when she wanted to this wouldnt of happened."
His mom told him that they would get an equity on the house, which would be around 80000 dollars, and they had 30000 saved up. Jerome had 25000 saved which was going to be for a house when they got married. But they still needed 65000 dollars. Tommy said he could help with a about 5000 , but jerome told him he didnt have to. "Nonsense bro, i will do that, and if i could i would give you more, but you now i just bought that boat"
"anything is good tommy, thanks alot."

Chapter 5
it was 4 am and jerome had not been to sleep yet. He couldnt sleep everytime he tried all he would see when he closed his eyes was cindy tied up in a chair screaming.
"Damn it, if only i wouldve left that stupid bar when she told me."
All of a sudden he heard someone knocking, he hurried downstairs thinking who it couldve been at 4 in the morning.
When he opened the door, the only thing that could come out of his mouth was " Oh shit!"
