My name is Ebony Harthy and I am going to another foster family. I have been going from family to family since my "parents" died. They were murdered because people can't stand what we are. They managed to save me. We are killed with fire, not the sun. You can probably already guess what I am. In case you haven't, I'm a vampire. The government doesn't want anyone to know about us, so I am in foster care like an average frozen forever at 18 year old girl. I am currently on my way to the Kael's family's house. My adoptive family.
They look like my family, only very different. Sort of like Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Hyde. I have long, straight ebony hair(ironic isn't it), clear blue eyes, and I am pale and short, I'm five' two. They all have blond hair and blue eyes. There are four of them. Mr. and Mrs. Kael, Joy Kael, who is 17, and Heaven Kael, who is 18. I am to stay with them, until they don't want me or until I get enough money to move out.
" Ebony, we're here." Mrs. Truman said. Mrs. Truman was my jail guard. I'm kidding. She's like my family, she's always been there for me.
" Oh, Joy. Let's go meet the freaks." I replied as I got out of the car. I, of course, dragged my luggage up to the front porch, were Mr. and Mrs. Kael were waiting.
" Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Kael. I'm Mrs. Truman and this is Ebony." Mrs. Truman said, once we were on the front porch.
" It's so nice to meet you both. Please, won't you come in." Mrs. Kael replied with a smile.
" I'm afraid that I can't I have to make sure that all the paper work was sorted out right." Mrs. Truman replied.
" Oh, Of course. We'll get Ebony settled in." Mr. Kael replied as he took my luggage inside the house.
" Goodbye Ebony. Behave yourself. I don't want any complaints." Mrs. Truman said sternly.
" I'll try my best, but I guarantee nothing." I replied. With that Mrs. Truman hobbled away. There went my last chance at leaving.
" Come on in, Ebony." Mrs. Kael said. I followed her inside. As much as I hated to admit it, the house was gorgeous. It looked like something out of a movie. And right there in front of the stair case was my new family. Of course, they looked perfect as well, except for Heaven. He seemed to be the rebel of the family. His blond hair was long and layered. It reached the nape of his neck. He was the only one, besides me, wearing back, and he was wearing eyeliner. He was truly perfect.

" Ebony, I'd like you to meet Joy and Heaven. They're your new
brother and sister. Joy is one year younger than you and Heaven is a few months older." Mrs. Kael said as I looked around the house.
" Heaven, take Ebony's stuff to her room. Ebony, just follow Heaven to your room." Mr. Kael added.
" Ok" I mumbled. So I then followed Heaven to my room. My room was girly. There's no other way to describe it, it's girly and I hate it. Everything was pink.
" Joy decorated it." Heaven said, by way of explanation. " If I had decorated it, it would have been all black."
" I'd have liked that better." I responded. I liked Heaven, he was cool.
" Can I see your room?" I asked. I wanted to see how the only person, who was slightly like me, lived.
" Sure. Follow me." Heaven replied with a shrug. Heaven walked out of my room and towards his own. Now, this room I could live in. It was all black. Literally, everything was black. It was amazing.
" I love it." I said. Heaven smiled. He had a really nice smile.
" So? You're the rebel of the family?" I asked. I was curious.
" Yeah." He replied with a smirk. " I guess you could say that. I just never felt comfortable in that type of life. I like it darker. I mean, where's the fun in living life, when you know it'll be by someone else's rules? I hate not being able to control what I want to do, you know?"
" Yeah, I know what you mean. You don't want to be told what to do. You want to have fun. People just think there's something wrong with us, just because we don't live like them." I answered. Heaven was really nice, but he was being held back by his family. I would soon change that.
" Yeah, that's it exactly. Man, I feel like I've known you for a long time. I mean, I just met you, but you get it. You get what I mean. I think this the beginning of a beautiful friendship." Heaven said with a smile.
" Did you just steal that line? I know I've heard it somewhere before." I asked, laughing. Heaven laughed as well.
" Yeah, I heard it, and now seemed like a good a time as any to try it out." Heaven replied. " Hey, you wanna watch a movie?"
