The Devil Wears Playboy Boxers [6]
"So what you're saying is that if Forrest gets into a stable relationship Amy will back off him and notice me?" "No it-" I stopped, noticing the gleam of hopefulness in his eyes. It would break me if I were the one to deem such bright light. "It's...a possibility." After processing it for a few seconds I realized it might actually be feasible. Amy was infatuated with Forrest, but if he were taken she would have to move on. This would give Kevin the chance to get her to notice him. "Spencer do you love me?" "...yes." "Can you do me a favor...?" I gazed at him curiously. "Depends on what the favor is. I mean I won't jump off a bridge for you." I joked, trying to avoid the question I was sure he was going to ask. "We know you want Forrest, and we know I want Amy, so if we were to work together than maybe we could get what we want." He said, moving his finger back and forth between the two of us to show our comparison. "How? I can't simply go up to Forrest and say 'hey hun, want to go out?'. First off Forrest isn't attracted to me, I should know because he even said so himself. According to him I'm too boyish." "You have to get Forrest. If you don't then I have no chance with Amy." "Well what do you expect me to do, change my boyish ways?!" I exclaimed. There was a sudden smile on his face. "Oh no. I know what you're thinking now. Kevin don't you dare expect me to-" "But it's the perfect plan! If-" Before he could continue with his thought the warning bell rang. I sighed, relieved. I needed some time to think this over. I couldn't make rash decisions. "How about we finish this talk later?" I suggested. "Perfect." Kevin chirped joyfully. Books in hand, I fleeted toward my classroom before I could be late. Luckily I arrived just in time. I sat down in my desk in the middle of the classroom. Mr. Press, the science teacher, began his class. "Alright, who can tell me..." I droned Mr. Press' voice out, too concerned about my situation to care about his class. I slouched in my seat. What have I gotten myself into? Sure I liked Forrest, but was he really going to pay attention to me if I stopped my boy-like ways? I wasn't even that boyish. I didn't burp when I finished a soda, nor did I fart for the sake of it. Then again I did wrestle with the guys and wasn't afraid to trying out for the football team when the season came (which the game turn out to be harder than I thought). I could at least try. I was doing Amy a favor if I did this. She wouldn't be stuck creating false hallucinations of her and Forrest growing up, getting married, and having twelve kids as she had once informed me. She could move on to someone who actually liked her: Kevin. The only problem was getting Forrest to fall for me... Forrest went for those, hot, popular girls-in other words Amy's friends. There was absolutely no way I could turn into that. They were so perfect, with their manicured nails and blow-dried hair. It was no wonder why the male population went after them. How could I, Spencer Adams, the school's biggest tomboy, transform into one of the prettiest girls in the school? I closed my eyes for a brief second, visualizing myself as one of them. Forrest could be mine. I opened my eyes. Kevin better have some good ass plans because suddenly my desire for Forrest doubled. ***** "Pass the ketchup please." I called. David took a bite of his sandwich. With his free hand he threw me the red bottle. It wasn't suppose to be in our table, it should be residing in the cafeteria's counter so that everyone may use it. However being that the guys had the right to do whatever they wanted they grabbed it from the counter without considering anyone else's need. I don't complain. Having it in the table was a great deal easier than standing up every second you needed it. "I heard about the nasty break-up you had with Kevin." Forrest commented. I rolled my eyes, rumors were so unreliable these days. "It was not a nasty break-up. If anything we handled it pretty well. We came into an agreement." "That's great." Forrest replied with nonchalance. He yawned, stretching his arms. I stared in awe as his muscles contracted, but caught myself before I looked like a fool. "I'm so tired. Last Janis had me up till 2 am." "I thought it was Carina." Stated Teddy.
