Lalu Micheals. So happy to be human, and live in my house with my mom, dad, and my annoying older brother, Seth. I loved them all, but that's not the only thing I loved. I loved my life, and everything about it. When I laughed, cried, happy, or sad it was all a part of being who you are. It all changed on the day of my seventeenth birthday.
I was sitting on the dock, listening to the quiet crashes of the waves hitting the shore below me. The sun was setting below the horizon, and I was waiting for the moon to come out and glisten through the night. I loved silence, and the peace and relaxation that came along with it.
I reached for my purse to pull out my ipod when I heard a noise come from behind me. It didn't bother me intentionally, but I was very curious who could be there and where it came from. I ignored it and pulled out my ipod and Iphone. Three message and four missed calls. Before I checked my message, I put my earphones on and let Alicia Key's lyrics of Falling fill through my ears. So peaceful. I read my text messages. Two of them came from my best friend, Summer, and one from my boyfriend, Scott, and one came from a unknown number. The text I got from the number sent anxiety through my body sending chills running down my spine and ceasing at my toes.

Love and life don't stop. Dying is not in the future for you. Ever

I don't know exactly what that means, but I know that dying was coming in my future. I'm not afraid of death, but if it means pain. You better believe I'm scared.
I got up from the dock and started making my way toward the beach. Something made my stop in my tracks towards the end of the dock. I peered at the back of me to make sure everything was okay, and it was. Everything was fine. I felt a drizzle of rain appear upon my face, then thunder and I could swear I saw the glow of lightning. I started to my house only twenty minutes away from the beach, scared cutting throw yards, and streets that I didn't know were there. I had to get there fast, but I was lost and my phone was dead.
I was making my way up the sidewalk when I saw a phone booth. Thank goodness! Thank God I had my wallet. I started running towards the phone booth when I realized someone was in it. I couldn't really see their face, but I saw a hand reaching for the handle. As soon as the man stepped out of the phone booth I ran in without looking at him.
"It's broken. I tried making another phone call, but it wouldn't work," the man said. I finally looked at him, and I felt my breath catch in my throat. Terribly beautiful. Dark hair covered his head, and his beautiful hazel eyes glistened in the moon light. "Snap out of it!" my conscious yelled. I finally realized with the man said and I panicked. I went into the booth, slid to the floor and cried. Yes, cried until I could finally get up and start walking again, which didn't come soon. The man was still there starring at me. Why hadn't he gone? I finally got up and tried getting out of the phone booth. I tripped on the bottom of it and went right into the man's arms.
"I didn't get your name?" the man said.
"Lalu, and yours?" I said getting out of his arms, while adjusting my shirt. He ignored my question and starred at me while I gawked at his shirt, which was soaked to his skin to where I could see the tone of his body. Rigid and chiseled. Flawless.
"I guess I should get-" he cut himself off when we heard something come out from the darkness behind us. "-get you somewhere safe." He grabbed my hand and pulled me forward, to where he was running incredibly fast. I was in his arms, trying to wiggle out, but his grip on my waist was so tight I couldn't possibly get out. I finally gave up and just relaxed in his arms.
The man finally stopped and looked around. I looked to my right and saw red eyes starring at us from the alley we came to. Wait. An alley? Were we in the city? I wasn't sure, but I knew we had to get out of here quick.
A man appeared out of the shadows, and the man holding me flinched.
"What do you want, Storm?" the man STILL holding me said,
"You know what I want, Dason. Hand over the human." Why did the guy known as Storm, just refer to me as a human? It's not like they were different from me, but I'm not to sure about this Storm guy.
"Damn," I heard Dason murmur. He came down to me and whispered in my ear, "I'm sorry but it's my only choice." Dason bent down and kissed me. A sharp pain shot through my like a bolt of lightning. It was so bad I couldn't even feel Dason kissing me! I was getting weaker and weaker, and there was nothing I could do about it. The last thing I heard before I passed out was, "You lucky bastard" and that was it.
