Too Bad My Best Friends Are Boys!(On Hold!)

Hi everyone, so this is my new story and its an idea that Ive been dying to write about. It started out as something random in my head but then I just couldn't control it and had to write. It'll be better than Sienna's Secret, I hope because that was my first attempt at writing, I hope you guys like this and feedback would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Also I know it might drag a bit in the beginning but Im doing that on purpose since the story requires the development so pleaseee just keep reading, I promise it gets better.

Prologue :

At some point in our lives ,we fall in love with our best friend. Some people realize that, some dont. They say that it isnt necessary for best friends who are of opposite genders to fall in love, yeah I would like to disgree. I'm Emily James and I have not one, not two but three guy best friends so you can clearly see my problem.  I had never been in love before, heck I didnt even know what it meant to be in love. I was happy with what I had. Then he came back and changed everything. I was made to experience what it felt like to love someone with all your heart and the pain that comes with it. Heartche and soulmates at 17?

Did someone ever tell you? 

Life is not fair.

  Dear Diary

 Its been ten years since I last saw him.Troy. One of my best friends.Well ex-best friend would be more apt since I havent actually seen the guy in ages. Peter and Shane are, were and always will be my best friends. I love those two douche bags to death. 

 Oh and did I forget to  mention this?  ALL of my best friends were guys. I was close to Peter's sister Gina but I wouldn't say she was that good of a friend .Mostly she just gets on nerves but she's practically family, like that really annoying Aunt you have to put up with at Thanksgiving.So technically  I cant help but love her.  At times I felt like she never really made an effort to be part of our group. Still whenever I needed girly advice, I talked to her. I mean come on, if I told Shane or Peter that I kind of had a crush on a guy from my History class, they wouldn't stop making fun of me for hours and hours and then they'd probabaly go and threaten the guy into oblivion. So yeah, Gina was my best girl friend but she had nothing on Peter and Shane. 

 Troy used to be part of our little foursome. We'd all grown-up together, gone to the same school,  hung out at each other's houses all the time but then his family moved to England . He'd be 18 now just like Shane, while Peter and I were 17. I'd tried to keep in touch with him but over the years we'd all moved on. One year after he had moved the phone calls stopped, we tried e-mailing but school and life in general just made it impossible to write to each other daily. Okay, so there could be the slight possibility that the two of us realized that our relationship couldnt survive the distance and we gave up trying to save it.  So  basically we were strangers now. His parents and mine talked to each a few times a year, on holidays, birthdays etc but Troy and I never did. I guess we'd both realized that it was a part of growing up. I knew Shane and Peter felt the same since none of them made any effort to contact him either.

Why do you ask am I going down memory lane?

*Drum roll please* 

Ten years later, he was coming back. The Troy  Robertson was coming back.  That's what my parents told me when I got home from school that day. They were so excited while telling me about it that I had to pretend to be equally thrilled by the news. Mr. and Mrs. Robertson were one of their closest friends. Of course they'd be excited to have them back. I on the other hand felt nothing.

"Emily!!" I heard Gina screaming my name before she basically attacked my closed door and threw it open, I'd just finished making the first entry into my diary. I'd always wanted to keep one but knowing Peter and Shane; I knew it was never going to be safe. God forbid they get their hands on this one!  Now however, since the boys were off to a soccer camp, I could write in peace and find a safe place to hide it before they returned in 5 days.
